The complete conversation, in order. 6,817 words.

[00:00:00] Breann: our team is, definitely not the right fit for a lot of people. , We have very high accountability here. . And I am very fanatical about our culture and who's here. Keeping our standards high, keeping our agent productivity high.

[00:00:16] Breann: So we have initially a two week onboarding process that our agents go through to kind of give them the foundations of learning the technology, our lead sources, how to talk to them, how to write contracts, how to build a schedule business plan. You know, we take them through. Initial things in those first two weeks.

[00:00:35] Breann: So they need to know,

[00:00:43] Suneet: What's up everybody? Welcome to another episode of the Reside Platform podcast. Super excited to bring on Brianne Green today. Brianne runs a powerhouse team and. I can't wait to talk to her so we can talk more about it.

[00:01:02] Suneet: So I'm just gonna do the introduction before I do a long bio. And Brianne, how's it going?

[00:01:08] Breann: Sun.

[00:01:11] Suneet: , how long have you been in real estate for?

[00:01:13] Breann: This my nine in.

[00:01:16] Suneet: Were your parents agents too?

[00:01:18] Breann: Yes, so I'm technically a third generation realtor. My grandfather started our brokerage and then my dad was also a real estate agent, so, it's in the bloodline. Pretty heavy.

[00:01:28] Suneet: Third generation. I didn't know that. So your grandfather had a brokerage.

[00:01:33] Breann: Yes. So the same brokerage we're a part of today was started by my grandfather in the seventies.

[00:01:39] Suneet: Oh, that's so cool. what's the name of the brokerage?

[00:01:42] Breann: The Broker Realty

[00:01:45] Suneet: Okay. what's your team called?

[00:01:47] Breann: my.

[00:01:49] Suneet: Okay. So you've been at your family's real estate company for the last 19 years. So guys, I wanna tell you a story about the first time I met Brianne is I was at a Mike Ferry , event, and Brianne got on stage. We had never met and she told number one, she was very polished and definitely knew her stuff.

[00:02:12] Suneet: And she told me a story about production that I had never heard anything like it. And I was so impressed. I followed her on social media instantly and then we reconnected a couple of months ago at Rate and I said, I gotta get you on the podcast 'cause your story is awesome. So what did he talk about on that Mike Ferry stage this couple years ago? I.

[00:02:33] Breann: You when I and my senior year of high school. Is that the story?

[00:02:38] Suneet: Oh I that there's two stories. Yes. So that story I definitely wanna talk about, but also that production you did as a solo agent that year.

[00:02:49] Breann: Okay. Which one do you wanna go down first?

[00:02:52] Suneet: High school won first. 'cause I love this one too. Yes.

[00:02:55] Breann: Okay, so, , I got licensed on my 18th birthday, which was in September of my senior year of high school. So I sold September through May of my senior year of high school. And I was at a pretty strict school, so I really could only sell like about three o'clock in the afternoon, and I'd usually work till like nine, 10 o'clock at night. And so I went on to sell 67 homes my first year in real estate. So I was asking my mom to check me outta school, go show houses and negotiate contract.

[00:03:28] Suneet: Oh my God. Like that makes me think about everybody we meet, and I even say this sometimes is, oh, they look too young. They sound too young. how are they gonna earn people's trust? You smash that thing right into the dust.

[00:03:44] Breann: but I don't think that's an age issue. I think that's a mindset issue. I mean, I can even say that I see that with, you know, agents that. Of all age and, and so if you confident in across.

[00:04:04] Breann: From the very beginning, committed to becoming a master at my skills and a master at having a strong mindset and how I presented myself and my tonality. And especially being a younger girl, I always was like dressed so much, you know, wore them probably what I needed to be. I was in a suit, I had my hair pulled up, so I.

[00:04:32] Breann: I.

[00:04:40] Suneet: they're all how, yeah. that's remarkable. And speaking about mindset like. the younger listeners and maybe people who struggle with mindset, what did like 18-year-old Brianne due to foster that winning mindset?

[00:04:55] Breann: I, the bridges, I just didn't have any other options. You know, when I jumped into real estate, I committed that I,

[00:05:04] Breann: and.

[00:05:07] Breann: You don't have like a plan B, then you're gonna go all in to whatever it takes to achieve your goals. And I've always been very goal focused. And so for me it was just constantly listening to great books and every great book I could get my hands on of all the greats and constantly listening to sales training.

[00:05:36] Breann: Out

[00:05:43] Breann: intentional.

[00:05:50] Suneet: Yes. I love everything that you said because that's always my answer too, is yes, burn the boats. this has to work. There is no doubt that this has to work. Then the next. Self-development, reading the greats, right? Listening to Zig Ziglar and Napoleon Hill, right. And listening to

[00:06:14] Suneet: the old Earl Nightingale's Sleepy ass voice.

[00:06:17] Suneet: Yes. Just listening to it all the things. And as I'm sitting here, I have all the books, all those books looking at me now. And then taking that extra step and living a life by design, by plan. Right. I love that. I do that every day. Write down your gratitude. Write it down every morning.

[00:06:35] Suneet: That's the first thing I do. I don't know about you, but I wake up, grab my journal and write my gratitude,

[00:06:40] Breann: Yeah, I have my remarkable by my bed, and that's what I'm doing first thing, and have a really strong morning routine that sets up my day. You know, like we're just doing all of those things to, and you hear Sunni, I mean, think about it. Every great professional in, in the industry is doing the things that we're talking about, but then people.

[00:07:00] Breann: Are, they're not getting the results that they wanna get or achieving the successes that they wanna do, but they're not putting in the, like it's easier than ever now. It all at fingertips what they're doing. There's no secret.

[00:07:12] Suneet: exactly. So do you like to write down like the goals every day just to look at 'em?

[00:07:18] Breann: I do. I write down just my general goals, like what I'm wanting to achieve

[00:07:25] Breann: writing.

[00:07:27] Suneet: Yeah. Health, wealth and family. totally. Do you like to write the goals out long and descriptive or short?

[00:07:36] Breann: I am much to the point, so I'm pretty short

[00:07:39] Suneet: Awesome. and how many of those goals do you consistently write every day?

[00:07:42] Breann: I don't even know exactly how many there are on there. I kind of go through the business and what like business goals we're focused on right now. Personal life and fitness.

[00:07:57] Suneet: Yeah, so the, here's why I ask, 'cause I've tried different things for myself on this. I'm always, I. morning routine and programming as me, it's like I got a bunch of questions. It's like, so I used to write 'em like, I will do this by this time Then I started writing in the past tense.

[00:08:19] Suneet: Now I write in the past tense, I have X and then I go descriptive and all the feelings I have from having that.

[00:08:36] Breann: I wanna have X amount of passive income a month by blank date. I mean, I do like, then I'm like, we achieved blank amount of passive income by blank date. You know, even though that date still in.

[00:08:50] Suneet: Okay, cool, cool. I'm always just finding ways, just trying to tweak it. 'cause mine will take like 25 minutes and I'm trying to shave some time off my morning

[00:09:00] Breann: I mean when your mom and working and have multiple small children, your routines have gotta be pretty expeditious or they're not getting done. So I would to say 20 minutes.

[00:09:10] Breann: I mean, my time is like I get done my so little different right.

[00:09:17] Suneet: Yeah, totally. , So the other story that I heard you talk about on stage at that Great Mike Ferry event As a solo agent, what was the most homes you sold in a year?

[00:09:28] Breann: I closed and in 2020 homes by myself. I, And then Catalyst.

[00:09:37] Suneet: Yeah. Right. You're all, I'm not doing that again.

[00:09:40] Breann: Well, it wasn't only just like, yes, that was the pinnacle of business-wise, what I thought I wanted to achieve. I mean, I live in Oklahoma City, so our average sales price is not great. I mean, it's way better now than it used to be, but I mean, my goal for my entire career up to that point had been I wanted to sell 200 homes and earn a million dollars.

[00:09:59] Breann: Like that was my like pinnacle. Almost heartbroken because I realized I had totally maxed out myself. I was just like, okay, like I cannot help more families next year than I did this year. Like how do I figure out how to continue to bring great service to other, , people in Oklahoma City? How do I service more people? Like how do I learn how to do catalyst? That's how I'm gonna build a team is I can help more people have great service if I can bring in some agents that can also help me with it. And so that's how like I slowly started into, well I can't say I slowly started, I jumped in feet first and built the team back. , I don't do anything slow, I don't think,

[00:10:45] Suneet: I mean, so how does a solo agent. Sell 210 freaking home that's the most I've ever heard.

[00:10:52] Breann: I'm being totally honest. , But I. One of the most efficient people you'll ever meet. So I just learned like these are the things that I've gotta do every day. These are the things that don't ever hit my plate. And I mean, I just was fanatical about following it. . I really sacrificed a lot of the things that are important to me of being present as a mom and a wife as well that year.

[00:11:25] Breann: , I mean, because there was only so many hours in a week and a day and, , I was trying to pull my husband outta his profession and coming to work with me full-time during that time too. So, , yeah, it was just, it was a very intense season of work knowing I very, move.

[00:11:43] Breann: So, yeah, I mean, I feel like you can do anything for a season and

[00:11:47] Breann: working a crazy.

[00:11:53] Suneet: It's kind of like you went on monk mode, right. To where just like I am in here. This is the season that I'm gonna do this in to. It's a great reason. So your husband can come join you. Right. , I love that. So, I mean, I also want to talk about prospecting because I know that you're a heavy prospector.

[00:12:12] Suneet: Did you start prospecting that senior year?

[00:12:16] Breann: I did, yeah, I started prospecting day one. I.

[00:12:24] Breann: he was a coach for a long time. He doesn't do it anymore. , But I met Mike when I was two and Mike started events at like 12. Like, so I see like Mike Vance, I see some of these guys. I didn't even know who I, , but I. Sitting, like there were times sitting in the car with my dad that I would like, can we please stop listening to Mike Ferry cassettes?

[00:12:42] Breann: Like, that's all we listened to. , So it's all I knew was to be like, you go out and generate your business. And so I literally, back in 2006, had a white book pages phone book and started calling through the White Pages phone book, day one. , And so I usually would prospect, like I would get school at three, get office minutes, usually by

[00:13:06] Breann: would eight 30 every day. . I found typically if I called people much after eight 30, I started to get at. , So I usually tried to stop around then, and then I'd work on my skills some more and then go home around 10 o'clock. , But I mean, I did that for a solid 90 days before I had my first sale.

[00:13:22] Breann: Then, I mean, my business like took off like crazy, but even knowing the scripts and knowing what to do and being committed to it, it took me a while to start to really see the results. It took a while for that to start to accumulate.

[00:13:33] Suneet: I think that is so awesome as a father and I happen to be a coach as well. Man you just gave me some inspiration for my kids. They have to listen to more coaching stuff. Yeah.

[00:13:44] Breann: Even when he would turn off the cassettes, it was still like some other motivational something. I mean, well, we did get, listen.

[00:13:56] Suneet: Oh, I love that. I love that. So you went from being that top producing third generation agent to deciding to start a team in 2020, right?

[00:14:08] Suneet: When you had sold all those houses and said, well, it's time for me to like get some. More time in my life, more leverage in my life. What were you thinking?

[00:14:17] Breann: it was the beginning of 2021 that, I mean, I had that. Point of, okay, I can't sell more homes, I can't help more families. Like, I learned what my capacity was.

[00:14:28] Breann: And so I didn't necessarily know what the next chapter looked like. And, , about two weeks into, Zach and I just kind of exploring different options.

[00:14:37] Breann: Bernie Galler, one of my great friends

[00:14:39] Breann: He got on my mastermind call and really talked about his team and why he started his team and what that process looked like. And he started his team much out of the same reason and like basically where I was feeling of like, I wanna help more families.

[00:14:53] Breann: I can only do so much. I wanna pour into other agents, I wanna help start, you know, changing other agents' lives. And so after the call, like I picked up the phone and called him personally and I was like, Hey, can we come out and see you? Can we come out and see what's going on? Like I'm really interested in this.

[00:15:09] Breann: And so he had us come out. Funny story. It was one of the few times ever in Nashville, they had a snow and ice storm. So we were out there and literally he barely could get to his office. So, , we had a whole day with him.

[00:15:24] Breann: So we started it. , It certainly ne our team for me didn't initially start outta the point of more time and leverage. , I mean, it has turned into that a little bit now. , But I mean, we're four or five years into this but I will tell anybody building a team has by far. and learning like you've gotta do. Right. Reasons.

[00:15:56] Breann: You're gonna fail because fail it takes more time, , those first few years. And you've gotta be taught it for the right reasons. And so Zach and I started out with just really figuring out how to put the right technology in place, the right systems, like what do these things need to look like before we bring in our first agents?

[00:16:12] Breann: And we brought in our first agents and. June or July of 21 and , it was really just simply like, Hey, we're starting this so we can impact and help more families in Oklahoma. I dunno about your markets uni, but I mean, you see terrible agents doing stuff all the time and I'm like, it's service to clients.

[00:16:29] Breann: So I wanted to impact more people with great service and I really wanted to impact agents, change their lives, and help them build great business. What also Bernie didn't fully warn me of is those first few years of building a team, unless you sell the same amount of houses you always sold, , you are definitely taking a pay up those first few years. But it has been so worth it. Yes. Now I do have a better leverage of time.

[00:16:53] Breann: Yes. I've pulled myself mostly out production. I do very little now myself. , So like, like. Is pour in training and working with our agents, and that's my full focus. My husband, , Zach does all of our operations. We have a sales manager, we have our staff. , So now we're 25 full-time team members. So I mean, it's totally changed.

[00:17:16] Breann: , And we'll help, about five 50 families this year. So we're doing almost.

[00:17:25] Breann: Fun to see that vision come to fruition, but.

[00:17:32] Suneet: Isn't it like such like a progression of fulfillment is how I feel like I. When I'm a brand new agent and I'm meeting this buyer family with like little kids and they've saved all their money for their down payment on their first house, and you get 'em in the house and it might've been tough and it's a good feeling.

[00:17:51] Suneet: and then as you grow, right, like just for more fulfillment, like that journey, like I said, you know, you bring on an agent to your team and maybe they're newly licensed, you get 'em their first deal. Now they've been with you a year and they move outta their parents' house. They buy their first little Honda Accord. Then you see 'em get like married, have a kid, buy an investment property, buy another house. And it's the same thing.

[00:18:13] Breann: I mean, for me, I mean as a mom, but it's like the proud mom of like, you know, one of our agents bought Dream and showed. You know, her dream car, like just how excited she is or, you know, just so many things these agents get to do that have been on their goal boards or like things they never thought they'd get to do, and then watching them get to do it.

[00:18:35] Breann: It's just, so fun, it's so rewarding. You're just like, yes, makes it all worth it.

[00:18:41] Suneet: Yes. Awesome. So. How do you structure like accountability for your agents, especially considering, you know, you do want a great standard of service. I.

[00:18:55] Breann: our team is, definitely not the right fit for a lot of people. , We have very high accountability here. . And I am very fanatical about our culture and who's here. Keeping our standards high, keeping our agent productivity high.

[00:19:12] Breann: So we have initially a two week onboarding process that our agents go through to kind of give them the foundations of learning the technology, our lead sources, how to talk to them, how to write contracts, how to build a schedule business plan. You know, we take them through. Initial things in those first two weeks.

[00:19:31] Breann: So they need to know, , I've actually recorded the videos for each of those, the training. So then our sales manager just meets with them each day and kind of goes over the homework and answers questions. So a lot of it's automated. We just make sure that they're doing it. , Then once they come outta that, they come into what I call tactical Tuesdays.

[00:19:48] Breann: So every Tuesday.

[00:19:56] Breann: I would've covered in the first two weeks. Probably didn't stick, you know, and kind of adding, you know, to that we monitor very closely, that they're working their leads properly. They're making the right number of calls and contacts every week

[00:20:08] Breann: that,

[00:20:08] Suneet: number of calls?

[00:20:10] Breann: so we've changed basically how we're tracking all of our numbers to just looking at it through follow up boss.

[00:20:16] Breann: We've tried a lot of other things and anyways, follow Boss is just the easiest

[00:20:19] Breann: follow thing. Is, I don't feel like it's great at always tracking the contacts. It tracks conversations over two minutes, but not always like contacts. So what we've learned is like we track if a new agent, or until they're making two a month consistently, if they're making 300 calls a week, they're usually making about 30 contacts a week.

[00:20:43] Breann: , So that's number we pay attention to. To 30 people a week. And if they're doing that, then they're gonna be setting the right number of appointments and everything else is gonna be following. So we track that really closely. , We expect that they're showing up to the team role, plays to the team, trainings, like there's a standard of things that they're expected to show up, when they're writing up their contracts that the staff is making sure things are done correctly, you know, so.

[00:21:16] Breann: Then if they continue to not handle it, they're gonna get a warning. And then you know, if that's not gonna change, we'll move them on off the team. So there's very high accountability, but we also have very high support. I don't believe you.

[00:21:29] Breann: We've got a ton of leadership level people inside the company that our people always have access to. , A great thing about our team is our top agents are so willing to help each other. Like our team really will help each other. They really do have each other's back. , And so. It's, you know, nobody can come in here and is lost in the system.

[00:21:51] Breann: So, I feel like it then gives me permission to hold them really accountable to everything we're asking them to do.

[00:21:56] Breann: And especially if your first 90 days you're unwilling to do it, then I'm gonna probably move you on because it's not gonna, if in this first 90 days.

[00:22:04] Suneet: Right. That's so true and so many, and of course it depends on your model, but so many will just have people hang out Just to hang out and full disclosure, I used to own a hundred percent brokerage where I charged monthly fees and anyone could hang out. I. Right now I have a team and now I have a team at, cloud-based place.

[00:22:24] Suneet: And I don't need you to hang out. You're actually just hurting my freaking numbers if you're hanging out and hurting. More importantly, the culture of winners.

[00:22:32] Breann: I mean, I'm having to pay for all of the technology. There's so many things.

[00:22:37] Breann: So last year we had a per agent productivity of 33 per agent

[00:22:41] Breann: that was within. So, everyone understands there's a system to, or there's a method to my madness and I'm like, you've gotta commit to this, your first 90 days to get up and selling fast enough to financially make it.

[00:22:54] Breann: And if you aren't, you know how many people can go six months without a.

[00:23:00] Breann: , everyone that's here is really seeing like, oh, there's a reason behind this. I get it. And so I don't fight.

[00:23:08] Suneet: Yeah. What do you think the most important like traits or qualities are for somebody when they wanna build a team like, yours? 33 per person is incredible brand.

[00:23:23] Breann: I mean, I think you like what makes you a great real estate agent, not make you a great team leader.

[00:23:28] Suneet: I say that all the time. Way to go high. Five. Okay? Yes.

[00:23:33] Breann: I was humbled my first year. You know, I mean, I. I'm a driver personality. I'm very direct. I'm very to the point, and I mean, I had to learn the first year of like, I can't go at everybody hard. You know? I had to learn so many different traits as a leader. So I think if you're going to really become a great team leader, you've gotta develop a high level of versatility.

[00:23:57] Breann: You've gotta be.

[00:24:04] Breann: I the best. Where are we falling short? Where do we not have the right training? Where do we need to come in and bring in somebody? Like where do we need to constantly be doing these things to get better and better and better? And I would say you also have to develop a really thick skin, , because people are the hardest part.

[00:24:21] Breann: People are the greatest part. The people are the hardest part. You know, it's like finding the right stuff and the people that are gonna do what they say they're gonna do and agents following through and doing what they're gonna do. And, you know, not getting your feelings hurt when someone decides to leave or sees something different.

[00:24:37] Breann: And, , so man, it's just a totally different.

[00:24:42] Suneet: It is. And the thing I think about leadership is you're gonna be a bad leader before you're a great leader. I. And you only learn through, there's lots of coaching that helps. But the big part of learning is by failing a lot. I, like me and my wife laugh, like a producer leaves, which I have a big team, it happens.

[00:25:01] Suneet: I'm not gonna say that it doesn't happen. It used to just wreck by week. Hey, so and so left, and they're all, I'm.

[00:25:12] Breann: Yeah, no, it used to like be some, thankfully we don't have a lot of agents that leave, and typically if somebody does, it's because they're not meeting the minimum standards and they, you know, move on. And it used to like, oh my gosh, I can't believe we pour all that time in. And I, you know, now I'm like, okay, that's great.

[00:25:27] Breann: Like, I don't have anybody in here watering down my culture. Okay.

[00:25:31] Suneet: Yeah. Exactly. So you said 300 contacts a week and you're using follow up boss.

[00:25:36] Suneet: Who are the agents calling?

[00:25:38] Suneet: Because your business was in the phone book right

[00:25:42] Breann: my, this is where my husband Zach, is like amazing of vetting and finding great lead sources. , Talk about that in a way that I couldn't even scratch the surface.

[00:25:51] Breann: Really wide variety of sources. , And so we do, once our agents go through the onboarding and show us they know the scripts and the technology, we do slowly start to turn them onto leads and make sure they know how to work them. So we give them a couple at a time, you know, watch them fail and then correct them and help them like with coaching.

[00:26:15] Breann: And, , also while we.

[00:26:20] Suneet: .

[00:26:28] Suneet: Awesome. , Because something that I remember from when I saw you talking, Mike Ferry about selling the. 200 in however many homes, over 200. , I thought the number was just 100. that's what I remember. That's over 200. I was half. , because, one hundred's a lot as far as I'm concerned for

[00:26:44] Breann: Well, I mean, in Oklahoma though, our average Hills price, if you weren't selling a hundred homes a year, you probably weren't doing a real great life way back in the day,

[00:26:51] Breann: so you kind of had to

[00:26:53] Suneet: Um,

[00:26:53] Breann: lot of houses.

[00:26:54] Suneet: So I was really curious about the leads for the agent. How much like, sphere prospecting that you have them do while you still have , those leads. So with that, with the process of the agents getting leads and the training, do you have like any kind of standards to stay on leads,

[00:27:13] Breann: We do, , again, accountability. So, you know, we have a standard of 15 attempts of communication in the first three of five days that you have them. , So we make sure that they're making enough attempts to try to actually speak and have a conversation. , We get a daily reporting every morning and every evening of their follow-up boss lists.

[00:27:33] Breann: And then everybody that needed a call that day, by the end of the day, those lists should be to zero. Like you've called and cleaned up your list, you're staying in communication with your leads. , You're converting, I mean, we're paying attention to conversion rates. Are you converting, are you having great conversations?

[00:27:49] Breann: So, I mean, we're paying attention to everything. If you think about it, like every lead is money that we've paid, and so we're inspecting that it's being handled correctly. And if it's not like we approach it initially as a coaching opportunity, like, Hey, let's walk you through like how you could handle this conversation better, what this could have looked like.

[00:28:08] Breann: And you know, obviously it.

[00:28:15] Breann: We also have times where it's like, okay, if so and so claimed 15 leads in a week, I'm gonna pause them, let them work those leads, let some other people catch up and grab some leads, and then I'll turn them on. So we're kind of looking at all of those metrics to keep our agents on leads, or if they're on vacation, we pause them.

[00:28:31] Breann: We have things like that. But we're always paying attention to metrics you make.

[00:28:40] Suneet: Do you guys do anything specific to make sure that the right lead type goes to the right agent for that lead?

[00:28:49] Breann: Yes,

[00:28:51] Breann: , So we're transparent with our agents about what our lead sources are. We walk agents through like, okay, in the beginning, these are the lead sources our newer agents get. And then, you know, as you qualify for Zillow Flex, like, you know, you go through and learn the scripts, you watch the trainings, then you can like, there's processes for every lead source so people know what it takes to get on those different sources.

[00:29:21] Breann: type of radio come list me appointments that, you know, a new agent's not gonna get until they're listing certified and show me they can handle it. So, I mean, yeah, I mean, I feel like I want everybody to have an opportunity with all the leads that we have, but I'm not gonna give them the opportunities before they show their ready.

[00:29:37] Breann: So, and then some people just like other.

[00:29:43] Breann: We've got some agents who love Zillow and can't get enough of it. And I have other agents that are like, please do not gimme a Zillow leave to say bye.

[00:29:50] Breann: you know, we try to structure, you know, some of that, , around, you know, it's, I feel like again, that's always a changing thing because you're always going, okay, I want this to be transparent of like what you need to do.

[00:30:02] Breann: But not everybody can shoot that.

[00:30:07] Suneet: Yes. ,, what does the administrative and ops side look like now?

[00:30:11] Breann: so Zach is over, , our operations and , so he handles all of that and has a VA that works with him. And then we have an office manager and, two, one listing coordinator, one transaction coordinator that handle. Files. So our agents handle the negotiations and the writing of their contracts, negotiations, staffing,

[00:30:33] Breann: And each one of them also has a VA

[00:30:38] Suneet: Okay, so Three VAs, is that right?

[00:30:40] Breann: four VAs total. And then we have two like part-time people that are runners, run,

[00:30:47] Breann: meet.

[00:30:50] Suneet: Love it. So, shifting gears. Because I know this will talk to a lot of our viewers and listeners. So you are a mom and a very successful team leader. How have you learned to set boundaries and build that business that checks all the boxes with doing all the stuff that you have to do?

[00:31:10] Breann: Estate agent. It's so each week, each month.

[00:31:21] Breann: Pre-writing down, like, okay, what are my most important things? So just like you and I have our morning routines, that's in my schedule. You know, what I'm doing at work is in my schedule. Okay? When I'm gonna be done to go do whatever with the kids, it's in my schedule or when I'm gonna on a date night with my husband, it's in my schedule.

[00:31:37] Breann: And I just treat those things like an appointment. And so just like, I wouldn't not show up to. All in the schedule, I would say with it as well is, I mean, I can't say like I have a ton of like extra hobbies and all this free time to like hang out with friends and things like, my life is very focused to building my company and having a great marriage with my husband and being a present involved mom with my kids and so.

[00:32:12] Breann: I schedule around, I mean.

[00:32:25] Breann: So think about it this way, have in our, are important, the most fragile if together, together, the way. My team, that's my kids, that's my marriage with my husband. Like those things are my glass box. So like you prioritize those first, like those are in your juggle that I make sure those don't fall. Then there's seasons where I have rubber balls. I can come in of like, okay, these are times for my friends or extra hobbies or you know, extra trips, things that I can put in where if they have to come out and it doesn't make build schedule.

[00:33:08] Suneet: That is so good, Bri, the glass bowls. I love that. That is so good. I love that so much. , So what advice I. You give, I guess you kind of gave it, but to another, mom who wants to fashion a business like yours, what advice do you have for them?

[00:33:34] Breann: I would say just get clarity on. How you wanna show up? What kind of team leader do you wanna be? What kind of mom do you wanna be? What kind of wife do you wanna be? Get that clarity,

[00:33:44] Breann: leader,

[00:33:51] Breann: grace.

[00:33:56] Breann: Have conversations with my.

[00:34:02] Breann: they understand I can't be at everything, but there are important things. I'm there and I'm present and I put my phone up and, you know, to do the best I can. , So I say just get clarity on what you really want those things to look like, and then build the schedule around it. , And be willing, and this is something that's been hard for me.

[00:34:19] Breann: is be willing to say no, like when things don't fit, or like as soon as something hits my schedule, it's like, ooh, like that feels like I don't like how that feels, or I don't like how that looks like. I try to be real quick to be like, okay, move it. You know, we had to schedule this podcast out several weeks as I was like, well, hey, a couple slot I could have.

[00:34:38] Breann: I wouldn't have my,

[00:34:40] Breann: was like one more thing. So I was like a couple weeks and then I'll be in a better spot where I can handle it. And so I just think you have to be constantly looking at those things and evaluating like, okay, is this supposed to even be on my schedule? Should this be on my schedule? And another huge thing I can say is get help.

[00:34:58] Breann: I do not do this all on my own. No way. I do it all on my own. I have an insanely good nanny. I have a great housekeeper. Like I delegate everything that I don't wanna do. So when I'm not working, I can go home and be with my kids. I'm not cooking dinner, I'm not gonna the grocery store, I'm not doing the laundry.

[00:35:15] Breann: That's done. I pay somebody. I'm coming home and I'm playing with my kids, or I'm going cheerleading.

[00:35:24] Breann: Don't do it all. You can't, Absolutely. Yeah. Question, do you have your meals scheduled in your calendar?

[00:35:32] Breann: We plan it with our nanny does most of our dinners and meals, so usually

[00:35:36] Breann: what we eat every day for breakfast. She knows we always take what we ate the night before for lunch the next day.

[00:35:41] Breann: So, yeah, I mean, it's really planned out. She knows like exactly what's, like, she makes her supplement, she makes all that stuff.

[00:35:47] Breann: yeah, she has our shake sitting on the counter when we walk in from the gym and stuff like that. So yeah, I mean, but we had to teach it all to her. It was all systems, so it can all happen.

[00:35:55] Suneet: ? I love that. What's next For the Homes by Brianne team, ,

[00:35:59] Breann: So, , we just found out we were the number one reined team in, Oklahoma City through real trends this year. So

[00:36:12] Breann: I really see that we've got the ability and the systems to, impact the agents and.

[00:36:24] Breann: Our family's growing and ending, like, we're not doing this again. We're done. , We're excited.
