The complete conversation, in order. 9,408 words.

[00:00:00] Reed: this is the worst it's gonna be. Like, this is brand new technology. This is only gonna get better. So it's really exciting to see what else happens to Bolt. And, what's the Bolt killer that will come out next month that'll make Bolt look like child's play? it's gonna happen, because that's how it always happens, especially with AI right now.

[00:00:25] Suneet: What's up, everybody. Welcome to another episode of the reside platform podcast. My name is Sunita Agarwal and I want to tell you a little bit about a, and I'm not just talking about chat GPT to write a sucky blog for your website. All right. Like AI in real life is transforming. All the ways that we do everything in work, at least for me, a lot of my personal life too.

[00:00:57] Suneet: , I've been involved in lots of conversations lately. Thanks to this guy, my dear friend and go to AI expert, Reed Florin. Reed, what's going on, man?

[00:01:09] Reed: Hey Sinead, nice to be here. Nice to see you again.

[00:01:11] Suneet: Yes. so this is Reid's second time on and the reason why it's so important. I've been talking to them and asking them all these questions about all this stuff for automating my business. So if you think that the AI is just for automated emails or blogs or Twitter posts, I want you to get ready for today's episode because read what read and I are going to talk about is going to open your eyes to what's really frigging possible out there from using, making applications, different stuff we can do with the data for our real estate businesses and just goes across everything.

[00:01:49] Suneet: This is so much more than what you've been used to. Okay, guys, so let's get started. Reed, how is my intro?

[00:01:59] Reed: Very good. It's always, always fun.

[00:02:02] Suneet: Yeah, because I had AI right in about four minutes ago I I really told it to get really You know, that's like a good use. I said, get in there. Let's create curiosity. And it did. I said, right.

[00:02:15] Suneet: It's a powerful that creates curiosity.

[00:02:18] Reed: Nice.

[00:02:21] Suneet: So Rita, tell everybody kind of, who maybe didn't catch the last episode yet, who you are and what you do.

[00:02:30] Reed: Yeah, so, I've been doing the whole online marketing thing since the 90s. I was a teenager when I started. I started promoting stuff as an affiliate, and I'm still an affiliate for a lot of things. I've kind of moved directions, into more of, like, the software world. Space where I promote a lot of software tools nowadays, and now I'm kind of a sought after AI and automations guy.

[00:02:49] Reed: I speak all over on AI and automation stuff, especially pertaining to how you can use it in your online business.

[00:02:57] Suneet: Yes, and dude, so just so people know how long you've been doing this far, when did you make your first book online? How old were you?

[00:03:06] Reed: I was 13. So that was 99.

[00:03:09] Suneet: 13, dude, I love that story. It appears every time. We'll be out somewhere and I'll just tell everybody, hey, tell them how old you were when you made that first book. It's so

[00:03:21] Reed: it was addictive. It was a bit addictive. Yeah.

[00:03:24] Suneet: yes, yeah, right? But I think that's super cool. And just, you're like, I'll, I'll text you and I'm we'll do, I just got to automate everything, right? Did, did you think a lot of this started from you just wanting to automate your solopreneurship type of business?

[00:03:45] Reed: Yeah. I mean, there's a lot of, a lot of it came from that. A lot of it is, I've got three kids, at least three that I know of. And, they, I want to be able to, to be there. with them as much as possible. So being able to automate different parts of my business, allows me to free up my time to, to spend more time with them and be more active and engaged with them.

[00:04:05] Suneet: Yeah.

[00:04:06] Reed: that that's been a primary motivator for me.

[00:04:09] Suneet: Well, and I think too, with, with you is right, is you're a one man show and you make money, so might as well get it super, super automated. So first of all. Talking about AI and not chat GPT. If you guys want to talk about simple chat GPT, go to our first episode. This is like, this is 101, or 1A? I don't know.

[00:04:35] Suneet: I don't remember that part of college. I think my mom doesn't listen. She's a college professor. so let's talk about custom GPTs. Why don't you explain to everybody what a custom GPT is?

[00:04:46] Reed: So, you can create these custom GPTs on chat, GPT, and you can train them on your own things. Basically you, it's kind of like making a miniature application inside of chat, GPT, something that. You could use yourself over and over again, or you could share the link with your friends, and they could use it, or your customers, they could use it, or you can even publish it to the GPT store, and then people that are searching for these custom GPTs to help them with something in their business, or in their life, or whatever they're using it for, Can find it, you're going to find custom GPTs that can do everything from great social media content to searching important databases and providing relevant information to creating, images and stuff for you in a customized environment.

[00:05:29] Reed: And so those are these custom GPTs. You can custom GPTs. currently in order to create those, you have to have a a, a chat GPT plus subscription to be able to create custom gpt. And then anyone that has a chat GPT account, which you can get for free, can access your GPT as long as you either put them in the GPT store or you give them the link that they could access, the custom GPT that you've made.

[00:05:53] Reed: It's a really useful thing. considering that you can make I think virtually unlimited of them for 20 bucks a month. It's kind of a no brainer I think everyone should play with a chat gpt plus A subscription in order to just kind of see how that works and see how they can use that in their business Definitely worth it.

[00:06:10] Suneet: Do you remember when they first asked how much you would pay for monthly access? I said

[00:06:15] Reed: Yeah, they they had Like a couple different ways on how they were going to do the price and they kind of settled on the 20 bucks a month after like a day or two

[00:06:22] Suneet: bucks a month.

[00:06:25] Reed: surprise me, no.

[00:06:28] Suneet: is a deal to sign me up. I probably have more than one account, but I'm still excited. but, the custom GPGs, like, I use them for everything I can think of. How about you?

[00:06:41] Reed: I use them a fair amount. not as much as I used to because I've kind of been switching over to other tools for a lot of things, but it's some place that I usually start with and kind of get my feet wet with it, get an idea going and go, okay. I like that. Now can I take it somewhere else and do the next thing with it and whether the next thing is just automate more of the process so I don't have to like hit continue or tell it to do other things, or if it's connecting it up to some third party tools that can do even more things outside of the realm of some of the tools I'm talking about, or even turn those custom GPTs into full blown software applications that anyone can use.

[00:07:17] Suneet: Yeah. So I think for everyone watching and listening, custom GPTs are really awesome. And we talked about it more maybe last month,

[00:07:28] Reed: I think so. Yeah.

[00:07:29] Suneet: right? Like,

[00:07:30] Reed: Not a month or two ago now.

[00:07:32] Suneet: so since then, the rate of technology is increasing very quickly, but for everyone listening. Do you know any free YouTube guy who has info on how to do those custom GPTs or do you have a video on that available on your website?

[00:07:50] Suneet: Well, yeah, I

[00:07:52] Reed: I mean, I know I put up a video that I shared privately that was unlisted. I don't think I made it public. But I could change that, to public or, or record something. I don't know of a video offhand. I'm sure if someone just searches for, custom chat GPTs on YouTube, you'll probably find a million different videos on it by now.

[00:08:08] Reed: it's,

[00:08:09] Suneet: one too, but yeah, going through the search was probably one of millions of views. I mean, just good people got value out of it. So custom GPTs, learn how to do them. I still play in there. Cause like you said, it's a great place to start before. Now let's go into the next iteration. So we're, so we're getting a chat GPT, making our own little threads that get saved and you can share it with people and they can create new instances.

[00:08:34] Suneet: But now, you're able to take those GPTs out and just multiply the amount of stuff that you can do with it. It's pretty mind blowing, mind blowing a little bit. Cause I'll just do a bunch of hand signs and say mind blowing a bunch of times. Why don't you give us some, why don't you give the readers or the viewers some, some info.

[00:08:56] Reed: Yeah. So one of the tools that I use a lot is called MindPal. you can get it at mindpal. io, is their, their main website for that. And this is a tool that's kind of like Jetpack. Chat GPT on steroids, you can, yeah, you, you can not only create your own like custom chat GPTs where, you know, yourself or other people can access, you can embed those on your website if you want, but you can make like little applications on MindPal that you could let people access, you could give people access where they would like give you your, their name and email in exchange for the info, they could actually pay you for the info and that goes pretty far.

[00:09:31] Reed: Straight to your Stripe account, you can create things where it's like multi step agents. So imagine tying multiple chat GPT prompts together into a thing that does the work for you in the background. So maybe, let's go with the social media example, because a lot of people can wrap their heads around that.

[00:09:48] Reed: Let's say that maybe you have a blog post and you want to turn that blog post into like some social media posts to drive some content. Well, you could have one where it creates a post for like Facebook, one that creates a post for LinkedIn, one that creates a post for Twitter and so on and so forth.

[00:10:05] Reed: And it creates these posts that are more tailored to those audiences that you could copy and paste and put onto your social media feeds and link back to. Your article that way, or you could take it another step further in mind pal, and you can use what's called api's application programming interface or web books, and you're going to use something like makers happier, and you could even have it send that data.

[00:10:32] Reed: So send those posts that is created over into your social media accounts and automatically post them for you. And so that's kind of like the next step, of the whole process. And that's like a real simple thing that you could do in MindPal, but you can do a lot of other crazy things and great all sorts of different tools, but just kind of give you an idea of what you can do with MindPal.

[00:10:50] Suneet: Make a board game. Yeah.

[00:10:54] Reed: you could, you could make, I mean, I'd probably use one of the other tools we're going to talk about more, for that, but you could definitely could have it come up with like, maybe you wanted it to come up with the Maybe you have an input of like I want a game that does xyz And then you might have this workflow that's like, okay, it's going to come up with the the actual rules It's going to come up with the the like board game Like maybe there's like a board that they play on maybe it's going to come up with some of the cards and stuff like that and those could all be different agents in that workflow that You know might be able to create that thing that you could actually have custom made and share with your family Bye bye And that'd be your own, game or something that you could sell.

[00:11:33] Reed: You could definitely do that.

[00:11:34] Suneet: It is crazy. Like, the workflow, I think you and him were talking about that. On mine pal, I haven't written out is take this transcript, run it through find the timestamps for and write copy for short for five, six short forms, which Opus does. So, and Opus will actually do the editing. So maybe that's maybe not such a big deal.

[00:11:59] Suneet: look for quotes to be used for, social media, look for big ideas, write posts about the big ideas. Write emails about the big ideas. Write an email about the podcast. So I can send it to my audience and send an email to you thanking you for being on the podcast, sharing all the same stuff, and then, taking the big ideas and running them through eight different styles of Instagram creators, different kinds of agents, and writing eight different video scripts about the big ideas.

[00:12:35] Suneet: With shots. Yeah. And then schedule all that

[00:12:39] Reed: crazy what you can do. Yeah, yeah, it's,

[00:12:41] Reed: it's

[00:12:41] Reed: wild.

[00:12:42] Suneet: Have you been sending straight from the app into like LinkedIn or Twitter or using like,Metricool or some shit?

[00:12:50] Reed: I mean, you can, especially like LinkedIn's pretty open to that kind of stuff. Facebook, it has to go to like a page or a group. You can't do that on a personal profile

[00:12:59] Reed: anymore.

[00:13:00] Suneet: you cannot do

[00:13:00] Reed: Yeah, you can't do this, so you'd have to copy and paste that one,Twitter and X, it used to be really easy to do, but they've, I think their pricing went into effect this month, for where they're, they jumped the pricing on their API to like 40 something thousand a month, there's something ridiculous, plus a user fee, so it's gotten quite expensive for API access for a lot of places that used to be able to just push stuff out on Twitter, so I think they're going to copy and paste, going

[00:13:26] Reed: forward, because it's not worth,

[00:13:28] Reed: worth that.

[00:13:30] Suneet: I think that for me, just the perfect flow is into the content database. In my case, it would be Monday. It doesn't matter what, it could be a spreadsheet, right? But into Monday. And then Monday has the API for Metricool, which will send to everything. So that's,

[00:13:55] Reed: That's definitely one way to do it. if you send it to one centralized location that can API out into Dimetricool or wherever, app you want to use that, that would definitely work. So,

[00:14:05] Suneet: yeah, cause I just want to have the fun, especially on personal brands. I mean, if let's look at, I own a real estate company for the boilerplate, real estate, marketing stuff, all on me. The only thing that I'm curious about that I want to talk to you about is When are you know, like, obviously, realtors and you know me and you follow me on social media and when we post about a house going into escrow, like, usually it's like a can of a template, is there a way to automate that is name of this agent, name of this realtor, it takes the picture, here's a picture of the house, here's the address, press the button, boom, done and scheduled.

[00:14:50] Reed: I mean, even in Canva, they've got like a bulk template feature.you can basically upload like a spreadsheet into Canva. And have it incorporate all those elements into a bunch of images and you could download those images or schedule them that way. So maybe you'd have a workflow where you create all the content that gets saved into a spreadsheet.

[00:15:12] Reed: Then upload that into Canva, and that would probably do what you're looking to do.

[00:15:16] Suneet: That's a much easier way, which is also something interesting, right? Like we were just talking about my whole post podcast. I mean, Opus does a lot of that. I guess the question you ask yourself, whether or not to use, Opus, and I have a paid account, for this podcast, actually, whether or not you use Opus is, does it make more sense to build it out yourself and customize it?

[00:15:38] Suneet: And I said, yes.

[00:15:42] Reed: I think there's a benefit to buying something off the shelf and just using it and not figuring out how to make it better. I see that, and you can hit the ground running. And I also think there's a benefit to creating your own customized tools with something like MindPal. And, a lot of, guys like you and me, or, gals, they can create these tools that, and they can make them a little bit better.

[00:16:03] Suneet: Yeah.

[00:16:04] Reed: can find something that maybe they're not finding a tool that does what they want, they can create something that does what they want and, and go from there. And so that's, that's where I think things like that shine. the other thing about MindPals, you can do so much of it where it can do the work, like, behind the scenes and in the background, where if, they have, like, This bulk run feature.

[00:16:22] Reed: , you could upload like a spreadsheet of, let's, we'll go with the content creation example. Cause it's easy to people wrap their head around. Let's say you had one that like create a lot of blog posts for you. You could take like a list of keywords. Maybe you go to some sort of keyword tool like Ahrefs or SEMrush or even like Google.

[00:16:41] Reed: keyword planner. You download the keywords that are, relevant to your market, and then you pop it into the bulk run feature on MindPal, and, maybe it's going to spit out a thousand different articles for you, later on in the day of all these SEO optimized, blog posts, then you could tie it even into, like, your WordPress, use something like Makers App or send a web hook over and have it automatically post those blogs into your WordPress for you.

[00:17:07] Suneet: Yeah. And publish them, right? And

[00:17:10] Reed: Publish them and then, you take that another step further, you have, another automation that goes out and creates a social media posts that, share that that, new blog post has been posted on your website and stuff like that.

[00:17:22] Suneet: Yeah, I have to do that one. So, MindPal is great. We talk about it all the time. Shout out to the founders of MindPal. If you want more information, let, me know, but, I've been in there like really, just really digging on there. But, that's not it. That's, now we're about 80 percent of the way down. Right now it gets even more interesting, dude. Has this been on for the last two weeks? Yes,

[00:17:52] Reed: this came out, sometime in October. Yeah, this is crazy. This tool is awesome.

[00:17:59] Suneet: I haven't even got a chance to get in there yet, cause I'm still on Mindtel,

[00:18:03] Reed: Sure, sure.

[00:18:04] Suneet: cause I'm still on

[00:18:05] Suneet: Mindtel.

[00:18:05] Reed: great, but,

[00:18:06] Suneet: Yes,

[00:18:07] Reed: but, but this, this is really cool.

[00:18:09] Suneet: so today is November 11th, you guys, we are talking like day by day updates. So, what's next? What do I gotta figure out next? How

[00:18:22] Reed: So right now. And I think the thing we're going to talk about is Bolt and Bolt. new is the website for this. And this is a tool that lets you create your own applications, your own, like, software on the internet. So, instead of learning a programming language and being a nerd and how to do all that kind of stuff, you just.

[00:18:41] Reed: Type to it or talk to it in plain English, just like you'd be talking like chat GPT or even a mind pal, and it's going to actually build a software application for you, it'll host it on the web for you, it creates all these different elements to it, you can make it even better by telling it to improve different things, like let's say you don't like the color scheme of it, you can tell it to change the color, it just does it, you don't have to learn how to do any of that stuff, it just does it for you, you want to add a new feature, It adds a new feature when you ask it, you want to create like a, a way for people to log in and be like a authenticated user, it can create a whole like database of users where they can log in and sign up their name and email, all this

[00:19:18] Suneet: do you hear? All of that?

[00:19:20] Reed: Yeah, yeah, I can do all this crazy stuff. Yeah.

[00:19:24] Suneet: It is just a prompt.

[00:19:26] Reed: Yeah. It's just a prompt. Yeah. It's so easy.

[00:19:29] Suneet: is it based on open ai?

[00:19:31] Reed: Yeah, I think they're using Claude Anthropic. so Anthropic's Claude. I don't know which model they're using, but it's, I think it's using that to do a lot of the coding, for you and you just have like a chat interface. That you can converse with it and tell it to change their things and tweak this, tweak that it shows you all the source code.

[00:19:50] Reed: So you have access to all that. If you ever want, you can even download all those source code files, send it to a programmer. If you want something really customized that I can't figure out how to do. but it allows you to preview everything. It's kind of like a split screen thing. You have like a chat area on one side, and then you have like the preview window where you can actually see.

[00:20:07] Reed: What's being built, live before your eyes and actually interact with it. And then you can just click deploy and it actually puts it on a web server for you that, you could access in the future. You could change the domain name on, you could pick a domain name for your tool, put that on there.

[00:20:23] Reed: You could put these kinds of tools behind some sort of like membership kind of site and charge access to them. I like, I saw one the other day, I don't remember the name of it offhand, but it was, It was a tool that sounded kind of similar to Opus, but instead of, like, repurposing your own content, it could look at, like, popular reels and find what was really popular about them.

[00:20:46] Reed: So you would have, Like really great hooks that you could use for future content that you do and this was like a subscription kind of service that helped you stay ahead of like all the trending content In your niche market so then you could start making trending content yourself I just found that the other day and someone made that completely in bolt And it's like a membership site and everything for the whole thing.

[00:21:07] Reed: So it's it's crazy. Yeah It's crazy what people are doing with this thing.

[00:21:11] Suneet: I don't even know. , because I'm just flabbergasted, bro. You just make the app?

[00:21:19] Suneet: Yeah, you just make the app. So like, No, you just write a

[00:21:21] Suneet: prompt. I makes that,

[00:21:23] Reed: Yeah, you just write a prompt, just let's I mean, we could share screens, I guess, and just make something if that's easier. I don't know what's easier to do. You want to? Yeah, I can do that. Let me, let me share my screen here

[00:21:38] Suneet: we'll just talk everybody through it as of far everyone listening in.

[00:21:44] Reed: can you see my screen?

[00:21:46] Suneet: Yeah, let me add it to the stage there

[00:21:48] Reed: Okay, cool.

[00:21:50] Suneet: All right, so we're on Bolt b o l t dot n e w. Okay. It says what do you want to build?

[00:21:57] Reed: yeah, so let's come up with an idea. What's something you want to make?

[00:21:59] Suneet: build Build a real estate crm

[00:22:03] Reed: Okay. Now they do have this thing where it's like a enhanced prompt thing And so this will make the prompt even better. I've found that this works Really well, so i'm gonna have it enhance it. So yeah, it's got like a database listing management lead track and calendar dashboard

[00:22:19] Suneet: Yeah, it

[00:22:20] Reed: I'm going to click continue. Let's just see what it does.

[00:22:24] Suneet: let's see what it does dude

[00:22:26] Reed: And so it is

[00:22:28] Suneet: there's the code.

[00:22:29] Reed: for us right now. It's installing some like third party packages to do it It's writing all the code faster than you and I could write. I mean, here's my hands. I'm not doing any of this.

[00:22:38] Suneet: would still be looking how to log in.

[00:22:40] Reed: Yeah So it's it's doing a bunch of stuff I

[00:22:48] Suneet: works, we'll just keep coming back to this as this is writing code, if you are listening to this and not watching the podcast, like pause it and go to your computer, open it up on your phone and watch what's happening right now, dude, what's this going to do to software? What the, what's going to happen with all my people with engineering degrees? Are we really at that place now? I

[00:23:17] Reed: we're getting pretty close. so it's it's creating a bunch of stuffso did not create like a, a database for this, but you'll want to like actually create like a, it talks about creating like a super base. I'm not going to, I'm not going to do that part. but hopefully we can display

[00:23:39] Suneet: something.

[00:23:40] Reed: just, okay, let me copy and paste that in because sometimes it errors out.

[00:23:45] Suneet: Yeah. Well, of course it's writing friggin code from nothing here, but that's okay

[00:23:49] Reed: Yep. Yep.

[00:23:50] Suneet: Can you fix the error? Oh, can you fix the error? How much is bolt bro?

[00:23:56] Reed: Free.

[00:23:58] Suneet: You're 20 Enough free.

[00:24:01] Reed: so they've got a free plan that's like a million tokens a month or something like that. And then they got a paid plan that starts at 20 a month. I think that gives you 10 million tokens and then so on and so forth. from there with it, but it gets even better. So Bolt is open source. And if you're really technical, you could install Bolt on your computer and then you could tie that into your various AI keys or your API keys for different providers.

[00:24:27] Reed: So you could use, Gemini or Cloud or OpenAI or all these different tools and you can switch back and forth between them and have it installed on your computer. So like I have a version of Bolt, installed on my computer that I can run at any time and it just, Uses my API keys and I don't have to pay a monthly subscription for Bolt, for it.

[00:24:46] Reed: let's see, components.

[00:24:48] Suneet: So it looks like a real estate CRM is probably not the easiest thing to build with two

[00:24:52] Reed: maybe not the easiest thing in two clicks. Let me, let me just see what happens. I have a feeling, cause I asked for it to do like a database and I didn't put any, database credentials in, that it's probably suffering from it, but we can go back and create something else.

[00:25:08] Suneet: Yes. Create something that, that we could,

[00:25:11] Reed: do something. how about like, maybe some sort of calculator for real

[00:25:14] Suneet: Do a mortgage refinance calculator,

[00:25:18] Reed: get a refinance calculator.

[00:25:21] Suneet: which honestly, if you're in real estate, excuse me, if, if you're in mortgage. That was the number one lead magnet that you have at your disposal to put on your website. So if you don't have

[00:25:32] Reed: we go, we're gonna, we're gonna create one.

[00:25:35] Suneet: yeah, if you don't have one, you can create one in bolt. new for free.

[00:25:42] Reed: So this, this I know it can do, because I've, I've made similar things to this. So yeah, I know it'll do this just fine.

[00:25:48] Suneet: do you, have you been like putting like mind pal and chat gpt with bolt? Like, is there like a use for both of them for mine pal and both at the same time? I don't know create this

[00:26:01] Reed: so I think one thing that could really work well with this is let's say that you have, a multi agent workflow that you've made in MindPal. And you don't want people to see MindPal's look and feel for things. You want a more custom experience. You could create something in Bolt that looks the way you want and takes the input and output from MindPal and displays it inside of your Bolt application.

[00:26:25] Reed: So I've done kind of similar things where I've taken like custom chat GBTs And then, you can put them into what's called the open AI playground. This is like their API developer area, and you can create what's called an open AI assistant. And so I take my instructions from my custom GPT, put those into an assistant, and then in Bolt, I can access that information back and forth and display it properly on, the screen here.

[00:26:54] Reed: I don't know why this is just showing

[00:26:56] Suneet: one's talking about assistance anymore.

[00:27:00] Reed: No, they're not. They're, they're really not. Let me try just deploying this and see if their preview thing is just being wonky today.

[00:27:06] Suneet: Oh, maybe it's because we're on zoom maybe because it's raining,

[00:27:09] Reed: Yeah, it could just be, some, some stream stuff. Let me see if the other one's finished yet.

[00:27:17] Reed: So like, this was like the, the CRM and it had a way for people to log in and stuff. Like, I'm going to tell it, we need to log in

[00:27:28] Suneet: Yeah,

[00:27:28] Reed: we can see what this CRM looks like.

[00:27:32] Suneet: so you guys he's prompting it to remove the need to log in to this is I mean It's not gonna be like follow a boss or go high level. I mean, could it be someday? I don't know

[00:27:45] Reed: At some point, I mean, this is brand new, like, we're talking, like, a couple weeks, two, three weeks old now, like, this is wild what this could do, and it's getting better every day, so, we'll let this run for a little bit, but we can talk about other things while they're going.

[00:27:59] Suneet: where, so where do you and uncle Perry learn about all this stuff? Non stop. Are you on some different groups that I know about? Like, like the shit comes out the next day, like Perry is teaching it and you're the expert.

[00:28:17] Reed: We just spent a lot of time playing with things. Finding, finding different stuff. No, Perry's great about finding something new and staying on the cutting edge. And then we kind of compare notes and figure out how to, how to make it better and how to actually use it, try to simplify it for people. So it's,

[00:28:35] Suneet: I think like, and that's the problem. This is something I learned from Perry at the very first day I bought, right. It was, and guys were talking about Perry Belcher. Oh, here's the refinance calculator. Type something in here and let's just see what it does. Dude, this looks great. And someone could download this and put it on a desktop, right?

[00:28:55] Reed: So like this could be put on your, like your website, your real estate website, for instance, and, you could add some stuff in here to.maybe put in some contact details to actually capture the lead if you want it, but like, here's an actual calculator. That's like the current loan, their new loan, term length, the closing costs, all that kind of

[00:29:16] Suneet: Yeah, dude, this is great. So

[00:29:19] Reed: you.

[00:29:20] Suneet: yeah, I mean, this calculator works. It's a, it's a mortgage calculator that is yours. So you can put whatever the heck you want on it.

[00:29:29] Reed: let's say you didn't like, I don't like the look and you make it more modern and it can change the whole look and feel for me, with it. I, I could be very specific about the colors I wanted, maybe I had a logo I wanted to include. It could put all that in there for me in a matter of minutes, reprograms the whole thing. And you got this new tool. If you don't like that, there's an undo button and you can go back to revert back to the old design or the old element before you add it.

[00:30:01] Suneet: logo in there and you'll tell them where to put it.

[00:30:04] Reed: I've done it where I've put the, the logo like on a website of mine just so I could link to it, but there is like an upload button. So I would think that you could probably just upload the file and go that way. with it. I know I've uploaded things where it's been like a screenshot of something.

[00:30:19] Reed: Hey, can you make a tool that looks like this? And I don't give it any info, I just give it the screenshot. Can tell what's in the screenshot and it makes something similar. With all the programming and makes a knockoff tool

[00:30:32] Suneet: Two,

[00:30:33] Reed: based off a screenshot. I mean, it's wild.

[00:30:36] Suneet: two. All right. It's processing.

[00:30:39] Reed: deploy again. Let's

[00:30:42] Suneet: see the new look.

[00:30:43] Reed: of that, like here's the CRM one.

[00:30:46] Suneet: Dude, doesn't that look just like GoHighLevel?

[00:30:49] Reed: It looks very similar

[00:30:51] Suneet: look at that. You guys, Reid just made a real estate CRM. It's on the screen.

[00:30:57] Reed: and there'll be different things that you need to add to this. you'd probably want to give it more, more info on all this kind of stuff. But I mean, it's, it's, it's. It's a basic look and feel for a CRM

[00:31:06] Suneet: Dude. Mint.

[00:31:08] Reed: matter of minutes. I mean, it's, it's, this is wild

[00:31:13] Suneet: And he can make a database then too. Create the database.

[00:31:17] Suneet: Connect

[00:31:17] Reed: create the database, connect everything.

[00:31:20] Suneet: Wow, bro. You know how many database classes I had to take for my, for my bachelors? It was all worthless. It was worthless a long time ago, but

[00:31:29] Reed: The other thing I've done with this is like, you can take like old, old code. So like maybe some old PHP script or something, something that you find that's kind of outdated. You can upload it into this tool, and it can create a more modern version of it. So you can take something that was, successful a decade ago, and maybe it's just not popular anymore because it's outdated and slow and stuff like that.

[00:31:50] Reed: And now it makes like a modern version of it that's fast and mobile responsive. And just imagine all the different stuff that's on the internet. That's like these old abandoned projects that were popular at one point, and they just didn't stay up to date with it. And you can make your own matter of

[00:32:07] Suneet: how about like video games?

[00:32:12] Reed: Yeah, I mean this isn't like I like a video game video game But I made like a like a magic eight ball kind of thing and put that on facebook the other day just for fun I made a teleprompter. I think yesterday with it where it would like actually follow like your voice So like it would stop like if if you like paused during the thing it would actually stop and then restart when you got To the next line and you could change the speed and everything and all sorts of different stuff.

[00:32:38] Reed: Yeah. Yeah

[00:32:39] Suneet: on my telephone.

[00:32:43] Reed: So yeah, it did. I mean, it was just like make a mega teleprompter that could do this and it did it You know, I did a I did one where it was like a split test analyzer thing. It would tell you which one Was statistically, the winner and all that kind of stuff So, I mean, it's just a bunch of different things i've been making within like a matter of minutes You Well, this tool,

[00:33:03] Suneet: That's the thing is people need to think bigger because no one even knows. And if you do know, then you have a big advantage

[00:33:11] Reed: huge, massive advantage.

[00:33:14] Suneet: because the people coming into this, the people coming into your business and next year. Every year from here on out, we'll know more and more about this. And you'll be one of those, if you're in real estate, you'll be one of those people who are saying, well, I remember when I had to carry around an MLS and it came as a book once a week. Went on the internet. I remember when we had to fax everything. Now I have to email.

[00:33:40] Reed: Yeah. I suppose it was a printed book back in the day. Never really thought about that, that it was like a big, big thick book. Yeah.

[00:33:46] Suneet: They all had the big old Thomas guide map in their car. We're proud of it. The updated Thomas guide, right? So I mean, just that advancement. And now like, I don't even know. If you're a real estate professional, like, are you really going to make a CRM? You don't need to. The ones out there are men. Just use follow ups.

[00:34:04] Suneet: but I can do that. Do you know what you do if you want to know what to build? Go into ChatGPT. I'm a realtor. I have a real estate team. I can build any application that I want. What are some applications I can build? You

[00:34:21] Reed: Then, prints and

[00:34:22] Suneet: know, I'm going as soon as it crawls over. But what's that do?

[00:34:27] Reed: I mean, you can do that. Like, like a guy like me can do that in any different market. Like that'd be perfect for you, with real estate, but like, someone like me. I'm not in a real estate, but I could apply it to some other market. If there's someone else that's

[00:34:39] Suneet: I know, I'm just

[00:34:40] Reed: they're,

[00:34:40] Suneet: to build it.

[00:34:41] Reed: they're in something else, maybe they're a veterinarian and they're like, I'll make some tools for, for veterinarians and then they can use bolt or mind pal to make some tools really easily. And use chat GPT to tell them what to make

[00:34:53] Suneet: Well, I've been mindbound to make a tool, really just to make an input and an output. Right?

[00:35:01] Reed: Yeah.

[00:35:03] Suneet: I mean, I'm just asking a question for myself. BecauseI've been talking to the founders of MindValue, I think I shared this video with their listeners, and like, they just want to see us auditing everything. Dude, the name is Tan, right? Tan and Tom, I think. so like,

[00:35:21] Reed: Yeah. The Vietnam. Yeah. They're, they're really smart.

[00:35:24] Suneet: like, yeah, real smart. besides just the marketing aspects. Like, like this is the prompt I've been pulling my face off because I'm so interested, is I have a real estate team, what are the departments that I should have?

[00:35:40] Suneet: Great. Okay. What can I automate in each of those departments? Write me a workflow of custom GPTs to automate that process. Is that how you how you're looking at it? Right?

[00:35:57] Reed: Yeah. I mean, that'd be a, like a perfect, use case to not only create custom GPTs, but then mind pal things. like I think. So I think of, like, the custom GPT as, like, the super beta version just for yourself, kind of see if you can get something to work, with AI. Then like the next step up is like mind pal to create like a multi agent workflow that maybe does the work for you In the background and you can stop right there, with either one of those you could you could stop right there Like there's there's a lot of a lot of benefit to just chat gbt because it's like 20 bucks a month for a professional thing Share it with a bunch of people.

[00:36:31] Reed: That's great mind pal. it's kind of the next step up But like you can create these like multi step Agent workflows. I could do a lot of the work in the background for you, which is wonderful. Like I've been able to save thousands upon thousands of hours a week with my pal lump. And then you throw on bolt, which could Yeah.

[00:36:51] Reed: once you figured out something that's working really well in chat GPT or, or in my pal, then you turn it into a software application and bolt that software application, you could use as a lead magnet, you could sell it, you could, charge people like a monthly subscription to use it.

[00:37:05] Reed: There's a lot of different things you can do with software. And the beautiful thing about software is. Software is extremely valuable. Software companies sell for really high multiples and it's based off of revenue, not profit. So it's fascinating. I think Perry said that software companies sell for six times revenue.

[00:37:26] Reed: That's

[00:37:26] Suneet: Yes. It's crazy. It's crazy. The multiples of software is so much more when so many real estate companies want to be deemed a software company so they can make more money. It has a lot of possibilities and it's now putting the hands of the everyday guy like you and me,

[00:37:42] Reed: Mm hmm.

[00:37:43] Suneet: maybe, you

[00:37:43] Reed: absolutely fascinating.

[00:37:45] Suneet: yeah, it's absolutely fascinating.

[00:37:46] Suneet: It is going to do something to everything.

[00:37:53] Reed: And this is the worst it's gonna be. Like, this is brand new technology. Like, like, this is only gonna get better. So it's really exciting to see what else happens to Bolt. And, what's the Bolt killer that will come out next month that'll make Bolt look like child's play? it's gonna happen, because that's how it always happens, especially with AI right now.

[00:38:12] Reed: It's like, something releases and we think it's amazing, and then, yeah, V0 was what we were talking about at Driven. And we thought, Perry thought that was great. And then Perry and I were like, how are we going to teach people how to like actually upload this stuff to a server and post it and all that.

[00:38:28] Reed: And so we were trying to figure out how we were going to do that. And then we find Bolt and went off to the races because it was just so easy. to use so, Perry found bolts and, and we will, we ran with it because it's just so much easier than teaching someone how to configure a server and upload all these files and all this kind of stuff.

[00:38:47] Suneet: And that's the thing, dude, is there's ways to make money for people out there. It's

[00:38:53] Reed: Yeah, there's tons of, tons of ways to make money. I'm not quite sure exactly how, how Bolt is making money. I know that they have a, the option to buy the additional, tokens and stuff like that. So that's part of their revenue. I don't know if the hosting of the apps is like somehow they're connected to the company.

[00:39:10] Reed: Maybe they're an affiliate or something of the the hosting platform. I don't know how it's working with that But like that seems like the the next step, you know If you were to create a tool like this either have the hosting platform yourself that you could you know charge people the monthly because you'd get it or You know do some sort of affiliate deal that would pay out a big Big payout for, for new customers or recurring, subscription revenue on it.

[00:39:34] Reed: I'm

[00:39:34] Suneet: Yeah, I did. I don't know yet, but I just don't even know I have to get in and check GBD after this and see all the things I can build.have you talked to anybody? Because sometimes I, I think about this. Like, have you, Terry probably knows this, you guys firing, you guys, Hiring any offshore talent to help with the GPT and workflow creation.

[00:40:00] Suneet: I know you probably aren't, I'm sure.

[00:40:02] Reed: not, I mean, I think with, Possum's got like that, what is it? Prado talent or something like that. Like, I think that would be like a really good fit for a lot of the stuff he's doing. And then I know Perry has some other companies where he's got outsourcers too. So I think there could be some advantages to. Not only giving them these tools and hoping that they, don't get totally scared off and go, I need to find a new job kind of thing, because I know some of them are going to think that way,

[00:40:32] Suneet: Well, some of them are going to get replaced and that's, and that's my plan.

[00:40:37] Reed: yeah, they'll, they'll totally get replaced. Those people, just aren't ready for, for this new age. but I think there's a benefit to the people that, that see like, Oh, I can create all these different tools that would, you know, automate things like there's even tools that we haven't talked about.

[00:40:52] Reed: Like, we haven't talked about cheat layer. to your audience and like, that's a tool that can do a lot of automation stuff. It's pretty, pretty nerdy. It's pretty technical to use. And I struggle with it

[00:41:01] Reed: sometimes.

[00:41:02] Suneet: it?

[00:41:03] Reed: Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's challenging, but like they've recently added a feature where you could upload like a YouTube video or a loom video or something like that of you doing something or someone else doing something.

[00:41:14] Reed: And it can turn that into an automation. So some existing video that someone already recorded on the internet, you could load that up in there and it automates the process like that is kind of some game changing technology right there because you there's tons of training videos and SOPs for things.

[00:41:33] Reed: And so let's say that. you're somebody like Perry or Cosm, and you have hundreds of these, like, VAs that work in different companies. What's stopping them from, like, recording their screen of something that they're doing, uploading that menial task into something like Cheat Layer, and it, spits out this automation that does that part of the workload for them, so that VA can work on something else, solve another problem in another business. like we're gonna see tons of stuff like that.

[00:41:58] Suneet: yes, dude.

[00:42:00] Reed: It's a wild time

[00:42:01] Suneet: it's a, I'm, I'm just kind of speechless. I'm thinking so much. what was some other uses that we've seen people use some of this stuff for so far? Because I know in the Ignite Facebook group, which we haven't talked about yet, outside and driven, people are doing all kinds of stuff.

[00:42:17] Suneet: What's some cool stuff that you've seen? That you can think of,

[00:42:20] Suneet: well like corneas and driven and ignite he's been posting some really cool stuff that he's made. we got to get him on the show,

[00:42:27] Reed: Yeah, you definitely have to get him on but he's made like three or four different applications that he's shown inside of ignite and driven like in the last couple days using bolt. I think one was like a a quiz generator tool One was like a like a favicon generator So like the little logos on the web browser for different pages and he actually I saw him share that inside the ghl community so he's getting leads that way off that thing.

[00:42:53] Reed: So that's awesome that he's promoting it that way God, he, he created some other stuff that was just really cool. Oh, it's a wonderful lead magnet. So he's been creating all these different things that he's using in his own business. He, I, I know the first thing he showed me was a tool. He made this while we were doing the Q and a, the other day on the 60 minute SaaS thing.

[00:43:13] Reed: so he showed it to me while we were in Q and a, and I just made this like every just learned about both. And it was like 10 minutes later. And this was a tool like, so he's, he does like email marketing stuff for other businesses. My understanding, he's got some like email marketing agency thing. And so he built this like email analyzer thing where they would like copy and paste one of their email messages, and then it would like score it and grade it based off of like, if all the technical stuff was set up, like their, their different records and stuff, if there was any like spam words in there and what needed to be changed, how well it was supposed to be doing and different like inboxes for things, what it would look like in the inbox, did all sorts of crazy stuff.

[00:43:53] Reed: And he was just, using that as like a, a way to drum up business for himself. it's like, oh, here's a tool that you can use, for free to give you some tips. Then if you need help to solve those things, I'm here kind of thing. It's like, man, now

[00:44:06] Suneet: Cause you know, Perry talks about Neil Patel, using software like SAS and lead magnets, like all the time and now we're

[00:44:18] Reed: you can do it. You don't need to be an engineer.

[00:44:21] Suneet: have tons of money to hire engineers. Like you could just log in for free and create it. Wow. Oh, all right. Well, yeah. So, you guys heard we, you can just hear me say, wow, on this podcast for hours, because we could go deep, but you guys heard us talk about, both ignite, Perry Belcher and driven mastermind.

[00:44:43] Suneet: We had, we had cost him on for the second time too, or earlier this week. Talking about parental talent. interestingly enough, , I began to hire some, administrative support in Argentina as well. And I'm really pleased with the process that he taught me on that. So shout out to Casa and then, yeah, and ignite, , we have this Facebook group and a community where we talk about.

[00:45:08] Suneet: It's not a real estate group. It's about, cool stuff with AI and marketing. A lot of both, a lot of training. and if you want more information on that, just reach out to reader. I, and we can direct you in the right place. Read. If somebody wants to follow you or get ahold of you, where should they go?

[00:45:24] Reed: I just search for my name, read Florine online. You're going to find a bunch of different things and you can connect with me on your favorite network and go from there. We'll start a conversation.

[00:45:33] Suneet: Yeah. Heck yeah, dude. Thank you so much. This was really good. And I'm like my whole plan to bro is like. I'm going to have Rita on every time something new comes up, because it's all this,

[00:45:47] Suneet: Yeah,

[00:45:47] Reed: happy to. It's always fun to hang out.

[00:45:49] Suneet: yeah, dude, thank you. So everybody, make sure you go give Rita a follow and check out the rest of the stuff she does.

[00:45:55] Suneet: And look, this is, this is what I learned with AI, the first AI BotCon, is you got to think. You don't got to be an expert. I'm probably too much of an expert that I need to be. Reid is definitely an expert, but he is an expert of this, right? But you, the real estate professional or other entrepreneurs, out there listening to this, you do not need to be an expert of this.

[00:46:20] Suneet: Number one, being an expert doesn't really, you don't need to be one, period. But if you don't want to be one, you don't have to. What you do have to do is get a general understanding of what's possible out there. I think just by watching this whole podcast and understanding what we're talking about, it's going to give you a leg up on everyone that, that, who's still thinking that making a little Facebook post of Chad GPT is super cool, right?

[00:46:45] Suneet: So, which, hey, we can tell, but that that's okay. Reid and I can tell. Your aunt can't, so that's fine. but you don't have to be an expert. But think big. Understand the basics and think big. The puck is headed this way. The world is headed this way. Learn enough to be dangerous, and then find ways to implement.

[00:47:09] Suneet: All right? If you got something out of this episode, I sure hope you did. Make sure to like and subscribe. Check out Reed's last episode he did, where we talk about, which was really advanced at the time, but now it's a little bit old school, basic, And, check out that episode for more greed and we'll see you on the next episode of the reside platform podcast.

[00:47:32] Suneet: Thanks everybody.
