[00:00:00] Hector: Dom, welcome to the Modern Masculinity Show, man. Thanks for being here.
[00:00:05] Dom: Thanks for having me. I'm excited masculinity is kind of like this huge topic nowadays, and I don't, I don't know if I've ever spoken on it before, but, I'm excited to go through this and see kind of what comes up because this isn't really a subject that I talk about. I live it and I am it, but it's not something that I give my opinion on.
[00:00:21] Dom: So I'm actually looking forward to doing this today.
[00:00:24] Hector: Well, it was interesting because I'll kind of give the context before we get into the real part, but I think that that's exactly it. That there are so many guys who might benefit from it, who might, be standing on the outside looking at it like, what, the hell is this? But I, I think it can be such a powerful tool, and so that's why I was selfishly excited to bring this to the guys.
[00:00:41] Hector: But we always start with, a challenge, something that's present for you as a, man, as a, provider, as all the different kind of roles that we have to step into as a man. For you, is there challenge that's most present or a challenge that's kind of top of mind for you that's, that's real for you right now?
[00:00:58] Dom: Yeah, so most of the time the challenges that I have are just business challenges, and right now we're growing so fast that it's causing me to have to grow as a person, as a human being. And so sometimes those growing pains could be a little, They hurt sometimes and it's causes those thoughts of like, oh man, am I doing the right thing?
[00:01:18] Dom: Is this the right path? So, you know, we've went from in January to three people to now it's what, at the end of June and there's 15, 16 people on my team. And so it's causing me to have to learn things that I didn't have to learn before. one huge thing which I delegated before, but delegating on a higher level, because at first you delegate a lot of unimportant tasks,
[00:01:39] Dom: the clerical stuff and things like that. But as you start to grow, now you have to delegate the more important stuff, talking to the people, managing other people. And you and I have to trust my team to be able to do that with the other parts of the team that's something that's been challenging.
[00:01:54] Dom: So just taking a different perspective. Trusting my team, trusting they're gonna do the right thing, and just consistently growing myself as a person. So, you know, we're gonna eventually have, 50, 60, 70 people in my company and it's gonna require a lot of growth. So that's where I'm at right now.
[00:02:12] Dom: That's my biggest challenge. And it's just one day at a time.
[00:02:15] Hector: Yeah, it's a range. And what is interesting about today's world is the new environments in which leadership is, being called. And the ways in which that, Is being called. we have to be leaders through Slack. We have to be leaders through, Zoom and, and I just think that it's different than what most What I would say, leaders of the past, you know, they'd go into the office and they'd rally the team and you'd, get everybody around and you'd fire 'em up and all of a sudden, you know, now this, new animal.
[00:02:42] Hector: I don't think better or
[00:02:43] Hector: worse, but,
[00:02:43] Hector: but just different.
[00:02:44] Dom: that and also creating a company environment where people feel like they're a part of a tribe and they're a part of something that's bigger than just them. You also have to cultivate that within people. And I think on my team, I've only personally met maybe four of the people.
[00:03:00] Dom: I like actually touch them, hug them, you know, that kind of thing. Everybody else I haven't met, and there's some people on there that I've known for a year or two years and still never actually physically met them, so it's kind of a weird thing. And so just getting people to buy into the culture and also to make them feel like they're a part of something, even though they are kind of.
[00:03:19] Dom: Alone in this journey. it's definitely an interesting balancing act. I don't know what the right term is, but definitely has its own challenges. But I love it. When I created my company, one of the things was creating a company that I. People love to work at and they don't have to slave away 12, 14, 16 hours a day.
[00:03:37] Dom: I like the people that work for me to have a life. I want them to be able to go to the gym. I want them to spend time with their family. I want them to have all these things outside of work. because from 18 to 30, I worked my entire life away and I really wish. I had more balance. some guys are like, no, fuck balance.
[00:03:55] Dom: Oh no, you gotta, I go really? Fuck balance. Okay, stand on one leg, let me push you over. And what's the first thing you're gonna seek? Balance. All right. That's because balance is important in life. So that's my philosophy, is like people gotta have hobbies, they gotta have things that they enjoy. And when you cultivate that, they're gonna be more effective at the workplace.
[00:04:13] Hector: I'm curious, you are Dom the hypnotist on Instagram. You've got a rather large following, you seem to be really resonating with people and vice versa. People are really resonating with you.
[00:04:23] Hector: I'm curious because the, reason for the show was, selfishly I was going through my own existential kind of thing. my wife's career's taken off, like what was the typical male roles where all of a sudden, think those have been kind of, Not, I don't know if taken away is the right word, but the deck has been shuffled.
[00:04:42] Hector: The cards have been shuffled, and we haven't really rewritten this handbook to say, you know, guys, here's how you go out and, thrive. here's what this new form of being, whatever a man looks like. And I think that that's been, we've talked about kind of the attack that's been put on that.
[00:04:58] Hector: but in any sense, you know, I'm 30 something years old. There's probably people around my age, even 10, 15 years, above or in a head or behind me, who are looking up and go like, what the fuck do I do? how do I do this? in a world where women wanna be independent and get their bag and don't want to be provided for, and, all of it.
[00:05:15] Hector: And so that was kind of the stage through which the show has coming. So, What I've tried to provide is now guys need the tools first, the resources, but mostly the tools to be able to navigate this world because there are no clear answers. And so we've gotta be able to get real with our emotions.
[00:05:32] Hector: We've gotta get real with us, all the things that we haven't been in tune with for the first, you know, few decades of our life. And so when I see hypnotherapy I'm so naive to it, so I'm excited for this conversation, but, I'm excited 'cause I see it as a possibility. But I also see me as that 20 something year old kid who, when they had a hypnotist come to college, and perform.
[00:05:52] Hector: I was like, who is this fucking buffoon?
[00:05:54] Hector: And he was kind of like a buffoon. I think the kids would say, this is trash. Like,
[00:05:59] Dom: yeah. It's.
[00:06:00] Hector: I didn't have the context for it. And so that's kind of where I wanted to kind of take this place. And I'd love for you to take us back to wherever you think is relevant or however you found it or you know, just kind of catch us up on, where you think it might fit into that whole thing.
[00:06:12] Dom: Yeah, so number one, I don't do stage shows. So Dom the hypnotist is I work with people helping them remove their mental blocks, loving up in their businesses, their careers, healing relationships, that kind of stuff. And the way I got into it was completely by accident. I wasn't, you know, planning on being a hypnotist.
[00:06:30] Dom: at 16 years old, I started selling weeded. At 18 years old, I started growing it. 17, 18 years old and then somewhere between 18 and 19 there was just so much, this is back when like it was illegal and this, that and the other. So there was just so much like negativity around that. Luckily I never got in trouble with the law or anything like that.
[00:06:48] Dom: Close calls, but never actually anything from that I was like, all right, I'm gonna do something. I'm gonna do like get my shit together. I don't wanna do this illegal stuff. People trying to rob you all the time, dodging cops, blah, blah, blah. So I actually got a job at Google and I used to work on Google Maps.
[00:07:03] Dom: So they take an aerial picture, you like draw all these things. And I worked there for about two, I think two weeks and six days. the day before my last day. I won't go into the whole story, it's kind of long, but. Essentially, me and this other guy had an argument to where it was gonna turn physical, and basically like the guy called me out and I was like, all right, let's do it.
[00:07:23] Dom: Let's go outside. And then this whole fiasco happened, and the next day they called me and they're like, Hey bro, you can't be doing that. You're out. So the next day, that was on a Thursday, Friday, I actually had an interview set up to work with this insurance company, and I wasn't even planning on going to it.
[00:07:37] Dom: I just set it up because they called me randomly. I didn't even apply. They just said, Hey. And I was like, all right, sure. Whatever. so now that I didn't have a job, I was like, all right, well, I guess I'm gonna this interview. So I went to the interview, took the job, and I did insurance. pretty much from the time I was 18 and a half, 19 years old, all the way up till 30.
[00:07:54] Dom: And for the first five years, I was really excited about it. You know, I was young, making six figures ready to take on the world. And then after a while I just, I got sick of it I tried some other things in between there. I started a solar company that failed and then I just went back to what I knew, which was insurance.
[00:08:09] Dom: 'cause I was really good at it, even though I hated it. So my last year doing insurance, I just remember, I just drive around every day going to people's homes and stuff like that, and I would just be like, man, there's gotta be something else out there. There's gotta be something like, I'm so tired of doing this, I don't wanna do it anymore.
[00:08:25] Dom: Again, I was really good at it. I was number two in sales in the company the year I left and one day, divine intervention, I guess you could say. My mom got me a hypnosis course as a Christmas gift in Christmas of 2018. She bought me this course. I was like, cool. I've always been into N L P and hypnosis, just being in sales, like you kind of like peek into that kind of stuff.
[00:08:45] Dom: So anyways, three months later, went to the course. I had zero expectation I was gonna do this for a living, but I went to this course, it was a two and a half day course, and I just fell in love with it. And in those two and a half days, I changed so much as a person. Like I could physically feel my energy, everything about me, my aura, everything changed.
[00:09:03] Dom: on that Monday, said, you know what? This is the thing I've been searching for, for like all these past years. This is the thing I just didn't know it was available. Made a, goal. I said, okay, six months from today, I'm gonna fully transition over from doing insurance to doing hypnotherapy full-time.
[00:09:19] Dom: That was my initial goal. Now, I didn't even wanna make the same amount of money. I was like, if I just pay my bills, I'll be happy with that. I'll take a pay cut as long as I'm doing something I enjoy. ' cause I'd done something I didn't enjoy for so long. And so the first week I went out. I didn't know what the hell I was doing.
[00:09:33] Dom: I just went to a two and a half day course. So you know, you don't learn a whole lot. I just started working with people for free, free sessions. I started offering on my Instagram, and within a week I worked with about 45 people, my confidence grew. So I'm like, all right, I can actually do this.
[00:09:46] Dom: It's not just the people in the course, it's real life people. Suddenly my six month goal now turned to three months, and I said, okay, by my birthday, this is when I'm gonna fully be doing hypnotherapy full-time. So the next week I went out and I still didn't charge anybody, but I had the confidence or the courage to be able to ask for testimonial in return.
[00:10:04] Dom: So I'd say, Hey, I'll do this for free. The only thing I asked is that you gimme a. A video testimonial talking about your experience. So within those two weeks, I worked with over a hundred people and some were quick little testing sessions and some were longer. two weeks to the day I woke up, I had 10 appointments to go sell insurance that day, and I just could not get my body to go in my car.
[00:10:24] Dom: I was just like, I'm done. You know? So I messaged my assistant, who's actually still with me to this day. Her name's Rochelle, I said, that's it. Tell everybody I'm not coming in today. And I said, I'm never selling another insurance policy ever again in my life. And I quit. as they say, the rest is history.
[00:10:38] Dom: And here we are four years later and, you know, everything's rocking and rolling.
[00:10:41] Hector: Yeah. Such a, cool story that, you know, you see it over and over where there's this stumbling, this seeming failure, that all of a sudden, with the expanded perspective, all of a sudden just becomes part of the stepping stone. and I think that that's, so important for us It's hard to do it in the moment, but if we can practice it right, we can all of a sudden say like, I, I can't figure out why this happened. But I can know that this is a part of the process and I think that helps. one of the concepts that's come up a lot and I, want to. Be hesitant to focus so much on the tool because you've got all of the, the resources and all of the trainings and I think that if people wanna go down this rabbit hole, there. What, I would like to do is for some guy who is sitting there and going like, I don't fucking need that.
[00:11:24] Hector: Like, that's fucking, Well, yeah, there's so, so many things that you could, label it as right. blind spots has been a theme that's, that's come up in a lot of conversations.
[00:11:34] Hector: And so I'm curious. how that might play into your work, or if you've seen people have like realizations or breakthroughs or like, I'd love for you to speak to some of the outcomes that people have seen from some of this stuff and maybe some of the, not so obvious ones or the surprising ones.
[00:11:50] Dom: Well, I'll give you a very, very interesting story about blind spots, and it's not only blind spots, I guess you could call it. Mute spots, and you'll understand why I say that here in a second. So, in the N F L season of 2021, I was working with a gentleman who was at the time. He was playing for the Patriots.
[00:12:06] Dom: Now he's playing for the Vikings. His name's, Jowan Williams. it's funny because I told this story in a podcast and I said, yeah, he was like a fourth or fifth stringer, and he corrected me. He is like, dude, I was third string. I was like, all right, my bad. It's third string. Anyways, I started working with him before the season and then what we would do is every week we'd get together and do a session to prepare for the upcoming game.
[00:12:25] Dom: Well, about halfway through the season, he finally got his first start because of all the work he was physically doing and then the mental work as well, clearing out his blocks. Now he was, he was dialed in. we got together for our Wednesday night session and you know, he is like Dom. This is my first start.
[00:12:40] Dom: I'm obviously nervous, like if there's anything you haven't done yet, if there's any tricks up your sleeve, now is the time to do it right. basically what we would do is every time you play a new team in the N F L, you gotta learn a new playbook for that next week. So you gotta learn all the play, right?
[00:12:53] Dom: Where they're in five wide trips or blah, blah, blah. They're gonna do this, they're gonna do that, right? So what I did was I took the plays of the upcoming team and I put 'em in a hypnosis recording and I told them to loop it throughout the night. So we would call it like a sleep hypnosis, right? You're just sleeping and it's playing and it's over and over and over.
[00:13:09] Dom: to be quite frank, I didn't even necessarily know if it was gonna work. I just figured, I know it wasn't gonna hurt, so we might as well just give it a shot. even though I was a hypnotist and I am a hypnotist at the time, I never listened to sleep hypnosis myself, so I didn't really know.
[00:13:24] Dom: I told him, listen to it every night, Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night. Well, Sunday night rolls around and he messages me after the game and he is like, dude, I have never been more in tune with what the other team was gonna do. And he said it is like I knew what they were gonna do before they did it.
[00:13:38] Dom: And him and his position, like he took over a leadership role and started going, all right guys, blah, blah, blah. Like you see guys call stuff out on defense. He started doing that. It's not even really his job. He was just so programmed to see all the patterns of the other team. I started thinking, okay.
[00:13:53] Dom: Maybe the sleep hypnosis does work. You know, it worked for him. So a few weeks later or so, I was thinking, I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna find a sleep. Hypnosis about creating abundance and creating success. I found this recording on YouTube and I was going through the comments and there was just so many people commenting like, oh my God, I started listening to this and all this money started happening and this and that, and this and that.
[00:14:14] Dom: And at first I was like, man, these are probably bots. Or, you know, somebody paid for it or whatever. But there were so many, I was like, And I started looking at people's profiles. They were real people. I'm like, all right, maybe there's something to it. So I figured I got nothing to lose. Let's give it a roll.
[00:14:29] Dom: So I started listening to that recording on a Tuesday, and by Sunday at the time, we had our biggest week ever by about 50%. And it was great because, 50% more clients, 50% more money. Awesome. The problem was though, is that 50% more clients also comes along with 50% more work. at the time, I didn't have a team like I do now, and I couldn't sustain that.
[00:14:52] Dom: Like I, if I did that every week, I mean, I'd be working a hundred hours. I actually stopped listening to the recording 'cause it was too effective. I was like, okay, let me like let stuff kind of settle in. a few months later that thought was still in my head, like, man, that was really powerful, but I don't wanna take on all the extra work.
[00:15:06] Dom: So the thought came to me, Hey, why don't I just create my own sleep hypnosis, but instead of large amounts of success, yes, but let's make it around. Being able to work the same or even less, So like more passive opportunities, et cetera. I created this sleep hypnosis, and I put it out on my YouTube.
[00:15:24] Dom: I put it on my Instagram, and within a couple days people were giving me tons of great feedback. Like, dude deals are closing, I'm getting my calendars booking up, you know, I got a raise. All these. Great comments and great feedback, but then other people were telling me that, the recording sounded like it was distorted and it sounded like it was corrupted.
[00:15:42] Dom: It sounded like it was in a different language, and so I thought like, all right, either I messed something up or their phones are, I don't know. So I just left it at that. Well, a few months went by and I decided to start make, 'cause I work with business owners and salespeople, so I decided to make the sleep hypnosis a part of their homework.
[00:16:01] Dom: So when they come on board, they go through a whole process and this is one of the things that they do. So, hey, start listening to the sleep hypnosis and it'll start bringing in success, blah, blah, blah. Again, within a couple days, same thing happened. People started giving me a bunch of great feedback, deals were closing, et cetera, et cetera, and then other people were saying it was sounded like it was corrupted.
[00:16:20] Dom: Well, after maybe a week or so of doing that, I had a client message me, and I'll always remember this is like a paradigm shifting moment in my life, and she goes, Hey Dom, I think something's wrong with the recording. And I said, you know what's up? And she goes, I don't know, but I could hear it for the first three or four days.
[00:16:38] Dom: But now it sounds like it's in a different language. It's, it sounds like it's corrupted or broken. So I said, okay, I've heard this before. Screen record it. Send it to me and I'll take a look. So she screen records, it sends it to me. I play it. I can hear it perfectly fine. I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about.
[00:16:53] Dom: It sounds clear to me. Well, about an hour goes by and she messaged me back and she's like, oh my god, Dom, I think I'm going crazy. I said, what? And she goes, I showed my partner, you're recording. We're in the same exact room, listening to the same exact thing, and she can hear it perfectly fine, but I can't understand it.
[00:17:12] Dom: And she said, it sounds like it's in a different language. So I'm like, What, like, what is going on? I don't, this isn't making sense to me. Right? So now I'm like, okay, her brain must be doing like blocking out or something. So I said, okay, let's talk about it next week in our session. So we jump on, week goes by, we jump on our, Zoom, and I gotta see it for myself obviously.
[00:17:31] Dom: Right? So I share my screen, I play the recording. And sure enough, I can hear it just as clear as you can hear me right now, and she can't understand a word. She can read the captions on the screen, on the YouTube video, but it's not processing in her brain. So I just intuitively went with what I figured it would be and I figured, okay, you've gotta have some type of fears around the affirmation in the recording.
[00:17:57] Dom: 'cause the whole eight hour recording is literally one affirmation. It's one sentence, it just goes and it repeats over and over, over a a thousand times or whatever. So I said, okay, there must be something. Your brain doesn't want to accept it. So what we did is piece by piece through the affirmation, I said, okay.
[00:18:12] Dom: I put her in hypnosis and we start talking to her subconscious mind. I said, okay, ask your subconscious mind. Why are you not letting me hear this part? And she's like, oh, well, I'm afraid when I become successful, my friends and family will be jealous. And, they'll like, Outcast me. Okay, cool.
[00:18:28] Dom: Uh, why this part? Oh, I'm afraid that, uh, when I become successful, people are gonna try to steal from me and take my wealth. Okay. What about this part? I, I don't believe I can handle a a lot of success all at once. Okay. What about this part? I, I believe I have to work really hard and it has to be a struggle, and I believe that I can't be happy.
[00:18:44] Dom: So there's all these things. So we go through and we, one by one, we start clearing 'em out of our subconscious. We find out where it starts, remove it, and sure enough, 45 minutes later, I hit the recording. She can hear it as clear as day again. So now that's not even the crazy, that is a crazy part.
[00:19:00] Dom: Obviously it gets even weirder. So I have a group that I do every Monday. It's, 50, 60 people that jump on. I. I shared this experience, I said, you know, like told 'em the whole story I just told you. And a couple more people were like, dude, same thing happened to me. So I meet with them, same exact thing.
[00:19:16] Dom: They can't hear it, we clear it, boom, they can hear it. And a few weeks after that, I had clients create their own affirmation in their own words. I didn't tell 'em what to say. In their own voice on this it's app. It's called the Parrot app. So you can record a into it and it'll just loop. So you can just put affirmation.
[00:19:33] Dom: It'll just play until your phone dies. So I had clients create their own affirmation in their own words, and within a few days after doing that, they couldn't understand their own words and their own voice. So one of the. Foundations of my program is going through that process, figuring out, like you said, what are the blind spots or what are you muted to?
[00:19:55] Dom: What are you not hearing? What's not coming into your existence? it's wild man. I've, had clients where literally let's pretend you're sitting in a room with your wife or whoever, and you go, babe, tell me what this says. And when they say it back to you, you can't even understand their words.
[00:20:11] Dom: And it sounds like they're going, but they're not. So it's this very weird phenomenon where people's subconscious mind are blocking them from receiving that success.
[00:20:21] Hector: Whew.
[00:20:23] Dom: Sounds unbelievable, doesn't it?
[00:20:25] Hector: no, a few years ago, perhaps,
[00:20:27] Hector: it would've seemed unbelievable for me. seems all too, prescient in the sense that, you. Fight against that. You could pretend that that phenomenon is not
[00:20:36] Hector: real. Or my brain is like, you know, well, fuck, what else am I missing?
[00:20:42] Hector: and at, all of the levels, what signals are being interpreted. And it also, gives some, credence to when other people have a different experience and you're like, I didn't fucking say that. what are you, like, what are you, fuck you. I did not But that was their experience. and that's why it is so real for them because it's how, you know. And so all this to say that, I think that the guys who are, willing to open up to these possibilities, I think are gonna be able to, um, Better navigate this dynamic world.
[00:21:10] Hector: So Dom, I told you before, we may or may not take a break, but we gotta give our listeners just a quick second to just digest and process all of that, even if it's just for myself because, uh, my energy's flowing. And, uh, I think this will be agreat time to take a quick break. So guys, we'll be right back.
[00:21:31] Hector: y'all. Today's episode is brought to you by Amplify Media and we are a podcast and content creation company. Well, we like to think of ourselves as genius makers. So if you have a passion, a purpose, a mission, a message, something that you wanna get out to the world, but you don't have the time, the team or the tech skills to be able to do it, uh, we might be able to help.
[00:21:48] Hector: Go to amplify media.com. That's a M P L A F Y media.com. You can also check the show notes for info. And with that, let's get back to today's episode. So, Dom, welcome back. I think that this, uh, has been Perhaps unsettling conversation, but I've become more, okay with that. so now that, guys have kind of seen and, opened up their eyes to, the fact that there might be something that they're missing, What could they use or leverage this to improve them?
[00:22:21] Hector: like practically speaking, you know, they're, the other side of the guy is like, well, what am I gonna use this for? And, and is there ways that he can improve their health, their fitness? we've talked a little bit about success, relationships are obviously a big thing.
[00:22:32] Hector: Like is this a tool that can cross over into those worlds as well?
[00:22:36] Dom: Yeah, it's every aspect of life. So think about how much we're blocking ourselves from receiving. So just from a financial standpoint. here's the other thing, which is baffling. I have clients that are multi-millionaires that will listen to this recording and it will do the same exact thing in specific spots, right?
[00:22:52] Dom: They start listening to it and it distorts and you think, wait a minute, this guy's richer than I am. How the hell is it distorting on him? This applies to every aspect of life, and we'll talk about the modern world of dating and relationships and all that,
[00:23:05] Dom: for. I've always had a belief that I always get good, loyal women. I've always just been that way. I don't know why. I just am, and now I've been with my fiance going on seven years, but even prior to that I would always just find these, I. Good girls that were, great looking, great personalities, loved to cook.
[00:23:23] Dom: Like I love a homemaker style girl. that's for me. I would have other people that go like, there's no good girls out here. Every girl is this. Every girl wants to cheat, every girl wants this and that. And I'm like, Not my experience. I always find the good ones, And it's because I have that belief within myself that that's what I see in my reality.
[00:23:41] Dom: Well, if you have a belief that every girl cheats, or every girl just wants to go get the bag, or every girl, you know, whatever, I. Then that's all you're gonna see. and what's gonna happen is just like the recording distorts you from hearing it, you're also gonna distort yourself from receiving and finding that good girl that fits whatever you want.
[00:23:59] Dom: And maybe the girl isn't a homemaker, like how I prefer, maybe they are successful and they go out and they do their own thing, whatever that may be. it's both ways women do it as well. I was just in this mastermind a couple weeks ago. One of the girls in the thing, she's like, oh, there's no good guys in Vegas and dah, dah, dah.
[00:24:17] Dom: And I'm like, oh God, here we go. Because there's good guys everywhere. There's good girls everywhere. It doesn't matter what city you're in. sure enough, she's trying to argue her point. And I said, no, because you believe that you're not seeing them. They're not showing up in your reality.
[00:24:30] Dom: Well, that same night, As a part of the mastermind, we went on a helicopter tour around Vegas and literally we go jump on the helicopter, our helicopter pilot, good looking dude, and just kind of jokingly, I'm like, Hey, um, are you single? And he is like, yep. And I said, oh, okay, cool. Are you a good guy? He's like, absolutely.
[00:24:48] Dom: I said, oh, that's interesting. You know, 'cause she was in the helicopter with us. And what's even funny, on top of all that is the girl that I was mentioning. She was all in helicopters. Nobody knew until once we got in the air, she's like, have you ever flown the blah, blah, blah? And I was like, see, it's all your perspective.
[00:25:04] Hector: If you start blocking it out, you don't see those good men that are there. and it's the same thing with our health, with every aspect of life, Yeah. So this, concept of, blind spots or blocks, it seems to be a core part of what you're doing is kind of removing those blocks One of the challenges that I've had to fight is needing to know how things work in order for them to work for me.
[00:25:26] Hector: needing to know how the engine runs that's something that I've, worked to overcome, but I think it's also a part of mastery and a part of understanding is there more to understand, For guys who are coming in and having no concept, but all of a sudden their interest is peaked and I'm, at the point in a lot of areas of my life where I'm like, I'll try anything.
[00:25:44] Hector: whatever might work. I'm willing to try. but I've also found that it helps to have an understanding of it. So is there more to this without obviously being in a session, is there more context or perspective that someone can understand that, might open them to going down this path?
[00:25:59] Dom: Yeah. So one thing they can do if they really want to do a deep dive is they can book a consultation with someone on my team. And we actually, through our initial intake process, we take you through a process where we bring to the surface what the blind spots are. So before we can remove a blind spot, we have to know what the blind spot is.
[00:26:16] Dom: And it's a very revealing call because you realize, oh my God, like I didn't realize how this, this, this, this, my upbringing, my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, my, and how it all plays into the reality. That you're creating. So once you bring that to the surface, then we can know, okay, this is what we need to do to remove these things.
[00:26:33] Dom: Now another thing they can do is I just launched my app a couple weeks ago, and there's a free portion in there where you can sign up and it actually gives you the money, magnetism, sleep, hypnosis that I just mentioned, where you can actually start listening to it and start hearing it and start either.
[00:26:48] Dom: Drawing some of that stuff in or become aware of the blocks you have now. It's funny, you know, I just had this guy who signed up for the free app the other day and through our system or whatever, and then he is like, Hey, how do I remove the blocks? And I said, well, you can upgrade to this program. eventually it's gonna be an online school.
[00:27:03] Dom: now it's just my content in the future, I'm gonna add other people's and blah, blah, blah. to give people a little taste of what we do, I started this online program where it's. so inexpensive. It's $44 a month, and you actually get access to not just the sleep hypnosis, but the actual step-by-step process of how to identify what the blocks are and then remove them on your own.
[00:27:23] Dom: Now, the other cool aspect about it is Monday through Thursday, we have a live hypnotherapist that does q and a with people and they go, Hey, I'm stuck here. How can I remove this? How can I do this? How can I do that? and the reason I created this is currently, as of today, I charge $15,000 to do a six session breakthrough.
[00:27:39] Dom: So it's six hours we go through, we do a deep dive. It also includes some other stuff, but not everybody has 15 grand to throw around, right? So if they don't, I. They can get a taste of what we do through our program and through that, through that membership, which again, brings all those things to the surface.
[00:27:54] Dom: And then they get to work with one of my hypnotherapist live to help 'em do the q and a. So, that's where I would start again. I mean, obviously it's my thing, it's my self-promotion. so people are like, well, how can I do something else? Like, this is what I know, so this, and this is what I do.
[00:28:09] Dom: Right? So I would say start there. And again, if you don't want to pay the money, it's. Free. You get the app for free, you get the sleep hypnosis for free. And then if you do wanna upgrade, which you will, once you see what's in the program, it's 44 bucks. anybody could scrape up a couple bucks.
[00:28:24] Dom: So that's where I would say to start
[00:28:25] Hector: Yeah. That's cool. I know we had mentioned before that there was a cool. Story behind that.did it happen organically or is something else that kind of
[00:28:32] Hector: caused the
[00:28:34] Dom: Oh, a hundred percent organic. And this might sound corny to people, but I used to not believe in God. I used to not believe in any of this stuff. And then through this process of hypnosis and clearing out my blocks and all these things that I've learned and, even beyond what we're talking about here, this isn't even that crazy.
[00:28:50] Dom: If you think this is crazy, there's a whole nother world that most people are not privy to. We won't get into that today, but, yeah, it just happened complete. I just stumbled upon it. I wasn't searching for it, and so I kind of took it as like, all right, God, the universe, whatever the hell, your spirit, whatever you wanna call it, is like, yo, I need you to take this concept, this thing that you just experience, and I need you to get other people to experience it so that way they can remove their blocks, you know, they can heal from whatever the hell they got going on.
[00:29:20] Dom: And because, let's be honest, Most people have money problems, and most problems can be solved by money. Most of 'em, not all of 'em, but most of them can. So, you know, number one reason for divorce is money. People can't afford healthcare. There's all these things. So if I can help people do that and do it in a cost effective way, then I feel like I am fulfilling my purpose.
[00:29:42] Dom: So, yeah, it was all by accident, just. Happened, kinda like how I got into this in the first place. It was all just an accident. I wasn't searching to be a hypnotist, you know?
[00:29:50] Hector: Yeah. Well, I'm, excited 'cause if the listeners are catching this, there is something to that whole, when the. Student is ready, the teacher will arrive. and if you've made it this far, perhaps that's you. But I think that goes back to that whole allowing thing, It's just when we are able to open ourselves to remove those blocks, that some of those things can start to flow.
[00:30:07] Hector: Dom, for those who are just listening, we may not have their phones in front of them. Where's the best place to get that? And, also where can they catch you on online?
[00:30:14] Dom: I don't know if you can put a link down to the description. I can give you a link for the, for the Apple version, for the Google Play version, and then I can put the link to book a call on our calendar to work with someone on my team you're like, okay, that's cool, but I really wanna do the one-on-one stuff either with me or one of my hypnotherapist.
[00:30:30] Dom: I'm that way too, like, Cool. It's 44 bucks a month. I'd rather get the one-on-one attention. I'll pay more for that. 'cause it the speed, right? I wanna get it fast and I wanna have that one-on-one attention. So if that's you, I'll also leave a link so you can book a consultation and um, you know, we'll reach out and we'll take you through that, intake process.
[00:30:46] Dom: And then you can also reach me on Instagram Dom, the hypnotist. It's my YouTube is dom hypnotist. Everything's Dom hypnotist.
[00:30:54] Hector: Dom, thanks for coming in and, and spending some time and enlightening us. masterfully. I would encourage all you guys to go out there and get connected with Dom. I'm gonna be hopping in and taking 'em up on a variety of those offers. we'll link all that stuff up in the show notes, and if you made it this far and got some value added today, we would forever and appreciate a, a rating or review wherever you get your podcasts.
[00:31:11] Hector: And, I would ask that you send this to another guy who might need it. and I think that if some, guy comes to mind, I would just send it to them because, more times than not, we need something. And, it's helpful when another guy reaches out and kind of says that they were thinking about you.
[00:31:24] Hector: So send it to someone else and, and maybe you can, lighten up their life. And, uh, thanks as always for being part of the tribe. We'll see you on the next one
[00:31:31] Dom: Thanks, man.
