The complete conversation, in order. 1,065 words.

[00:00:00] Jeff: Welcome to the Amplify Business Show. If you found this show, you found the intersection of technology and business. The objective of this show is not to get into the technical specs of the resolution of a display or the loudness of a system, or any of the rest of those things, technical specs. We're setting all that to one side, what we're talking about, because those things will change over time.

[00:00:41] Jeff: Technology is advancing so rapidly that those specs. That you look at today may mean little to nothing tomorrow because the next revolution of that may be out at this point. So what we're talking about really is the base level principles of how you're using the technology to further your business and drive efficiency.

[00:00:57] Jeff: If you're using technology for training, if you're recording content for social media, if you're using video conferencing in your conference rooms to connect your teams across the world. What are the things that drive efficiency in your business and how do the systems force multiply for you so that it's not a cost to your revenue, but it actually is an investment in your team's goal for whatever it is that you're trying to do.

[00:01:20] Jeff: Whether you're selling to a client halfway across the world or doing a presentation in your conference room. Two doors down the hall to a client that you're gonna sign a $10 million contract. With all of those things, technology will amplify your ability to be able to put those things in front of people in a way that makes you look good in front of your client.

[00:01:38] Jeff: That makes you look good in front of your employees as well. The trick with all of that is, is making sure that you've planned it appropriately, making sure that you've put enough forethought and time into the requirements so that you're not building a system that is overblown and oversold and you have more in there than you need.

[00:01:55] Jeff: The real requirement, if you can drill down to that, you should be able to design a system that meets that requirement and does not exceed it, both saving you time, cost, and just overall headache from complexities that don't need to be there. We'll be having conversations with leaders in the house of worship environment as well as enterprise level companies, restaurants, coaches.

[00:02:16] Jeff: Marketing agencies talking about the technologies that they use to further their business and what really makes a difference to their bottom line and helps them succeed in moving their goals forward and moving their business forward. A little about me. My name's Jeff Price. I've been in the audio video industry for about 25 years.

[00:02:33] Jeff: Started out as an audio engineer running sound both in recording studios and live environments. I spent a lot of time integrating systems working in the field with really good teams and working in the field with really bad teams. Have had the opportunity to see several things over the years. Built seven figure business at Communications advisory service, better known as Cass.

[00:02:53] Jeff: So if you wanna hear any more about that, feel free to reach out to us at any time. But really just wanted to kind of set this up where you understand the conversations that we're gonna be having are specifically about technology and business and where they intersect. We feel like. If you can have a better conversation at the beginning of some of these projects, the outcome of your project can amplify everything that you're doing.

[00:03:15] Jeff: It can amplify your business. You can turn the wattage up on your business by using technology appropriately. We feel like it can force multiply for your teams. It can help you more easily work through sales calls. It can help you more easily work through. Communications with your teams, getting things in front of the right people at the right time with the right technology can make all the difference in the world.

[00:03:38] Jeff: At the end of the day, the technology that you're dealing with in your conference room or in your lobby or any of those kind of things. If there's no content on it, if there is no message on it, it's just a blank wall. It's just a blank tv. You need to spend some time as well thinking about the delivery system for your message, because it doesn't really matter what the delivery system is.

[00:03:59] Jeff: But if you're using technology. You need to make sure that you put in the forethought to make sure that your message comes across and conveys the message that you are trying to get to your particular demographic that you're talking to, whether that's your clients or your employees, or the world in social media.

[00:04:14] Jeff: It doesn't matter. The more forethought that you put into that and the more planning that you put into that, the better off your output is gonna be. Better inputs, make better outputs. If you can go through and spend the time in preparation, planning your projects, planning what you're gonna deploy, it will make that much more of a difference.

[00:04:30] Jeff: At the end of the day, you'll get that much more out of the system. The systems will last that much longer. If they are sized appropriately, inspected correctly in the beginning. It makes a huge difference at the end of the day. That's one of the things that we wanna focus on in the show. We talked to several different business owners and executives, decision makers, people in leadership positions.

[00:04:51] Jeff: Specifically about these things, to have those conversations, to see what other people are doing and how they're making their decisions around what technologies that they're using and what technology that they see that makes an impact for their business and for what they do individually. Um, that is the purpose of this show.

[00:05:07] Jeff: So if you found us stay tuned, tune in on YouTube, tune in on Spotify or wherever you're listening to the show from, um, you can watch it as well either way. Um. Glad you're here. Look forward to having future conversations with you. Reach out if you have any.
