The complete conversation, in order. 4,652 words.

[00:00:03] Hector: Hello, and welcome to another episode of the How to Scale of Business podcast. My name is Hector Santhe Esteban, and I'm your host for today. Our special guest is Mr. Cash Fedi. And, in addition to having the same great name as, my son Cashton, he is also the, founder and, owner of Fed Insurance Company.

[00:00:20] Hector: So cash. Welcome, welcome to the Haskell Business

[00:00:23] Kash: David, I'm so happy to be with you and your audience. Thank you for having me.

[00:00:28] Hector: Yeah, for someone who, you know, is in a very traditional sort of industry, like the insurance is, we're gonna go sort of non-traditional in today's conversation, at least for the listeners. And I think it's gonna be really helpful and relevant. Just because the way that you've had your success, I think, is so different than most people.

[00:00:49] Hector: Most people, you know? Period. And so before we get into that, I'd love for you to share with the, listeners your journey. And you can go back as far back as you think is relevant, but you what were some of the key steps along the way for.

[00:01:03] Kash: Yeah. Awesome. Good way to start. Yeah. Real briefly, the skinny version would be I was a refugee from Iran when I was five. we left the country. There was turmoil, went to Germany. When I got to Germany and around, you know, nine, 10 years old, I was really interested in, the questions of life.

[00:01:21] Kash: for some reason, as a kid, I was interested in, you know, finding answers, finding, the supernatural. Let's call God whatever. And I started reading and I got introduced into different scriptures. most importantly was the, Bible. I was just reading the Bible and I'm Persian descent.

[00:01:41] Kash: So I started to, find these Persian guys in this Jewish Bible. I'm like, how does that work? Like Cyrus and Darius and, you know, and so all these rabbit holes began to happen. What I wanted was the same sort of superpower that these individuals, these characters in these books and in all these literature had, I wanted that connection, that sort of chosen or that called upon individual.

[00:02:13] Kash: And so that just led me to read more. eventually led me to this idea that, okay, the answers are within. they're inside. So then I'm like, well, how do you go within? And that led me to this vehicle or technology called meditation. And so that opened up another rabbit hole. And anyways, the point of it is, is that I wanted to have this direct contact.

[00:02:39] Kash: Source, in which case I would have superpowers and I would be able to fulfill my purpose on Earth. that was sort of how I got into everything. that's in brief kind of what happened. A lot of things happened, but that's like the gist of it.

[00:02:55] Hector: and for the listeners who are going, well, cash, how does this make any sense with business? you know, we were just talking before, now you're at a space where you're scaling and you're, you know, talking about franchising and all these, you know, sort of opportunities that are essentially, very commercial, right?

[00:03:09] Hector: But, you haven't really spoken about that. So how do, the two worlds collide?

[00:03:12] Kash: Yeah. Love that man. So I figured, okay. If I work on the strategy of the principle of the highest first, that's what I call it, meaning if I am able to find the corridor of going within know thyself and then discover this connectivity with the divine, for example, then at that point it doesn't matter because whatever my purpose is at that point, I'm just gonna engage in it.

[00:03:41] Kash: It's like I'm relinquished, surrendered, ready to accomplish what this incarnation has for me. So that's how I worked it. And now I went in with innocence with no expectations except he first, the kingdom and everything shall be added. That sort of concept, which I called the principle the highest first, and it turned out that I was to be. Corporate guru, front of a guy. You know, like this, spiritual thinker meets the grind of corporate America and then ours to bring into and infuse into this, area of society, heart centeredness. And so how can I be a. Really good CE, professional, but be true to my spiritual practice and continue to evolve into higher states of consciousness and bring that into the corporate world and not lose on either side of it. So instead of being a recluse and some cave, it turns out. That doing it this way, oscillating between pure consciousness through my spiritual practice. Then the outward stroke of engaging in activity of business, they actually helped accelerate the process of enlightenment. that's what I discovered.

[00:05:13] Kash: Then later in retrospect, I discovered Hector that, oh, in the Vedic tradition. Specifically in the tantric tradition, this is actually a thing. this is actually prescribed that one can reach moksha enlightenment by being a householder. So that's sort of what, what happened there.

[00:05:34] Hector: I am so excited. I have to keep the guardrails on for the listeners who are going, gosh, what the hell are you talking about? Because, you know, I'm similarly, I've gone on that, path. I started in sales and my first, introduction to meditation was through mindfulness.

[00:05:51] Hector: And I remember hiring a mindfulness coach to get better at sales because. I was freaking out inside. I'm like, you know, I, I was losing control. I, didn't feel like I had control of myself. And so it is just a really interesting collision between, you know, the spiritual practice and entrepreneurship.

[00:06:09] Hector: I'm curious. I had written down, I'm glad you brought it up, this idea. of consciousness and an entrepreneur. And I remember one of the books I read early on in my sort of journey was Conscious Capitalism, and I forget the name of the author, but it was a great book, which essentially talked about, you know, how you can do good through business.

[00:06:27] Hector: And it was, kind of when the, whole Toms thing started and it was, you know, like give back sort of thing. But I, I think that has gone so much further and there's so much more to. Being a conscious business or a conscious leader than, simply giving, you know, a percentage of your earnings when it comes to, you know, making money and such.

[00:06:49] Hector: So when you look at consciousness and how it plays into entrepreneurship, how it plays into being a business owner or a business leader, like where is the crossover or what's the Venn diagram look like between those two worlds?

[00:07:01] Kash: Hmm. Good. Yeah, let's zoom into that. Being an entrepreneur, as many who have you know, went on its path of entrepreneurship is in fact one of the most extremely difficult things, right? Because there's tons of competition, there's a lot of discipline that's involved, there's a lot of decision making That one must.

[00:07:22] Kash: engage in, the reason I bring consciousness into this is simply that we are typically less aware because of the distractions when the physiology goes under a lot of stress. The nervous system tends to go into those lower chakras, right? it tends to go into that, you know, freeze fight flight, and it puts the entrepreneur in a reactive mode. And so the consciousness there is going to be limited. If there's gonna be less intel, there's less intelligence there. It's based more on logic. Logic is great, but it logic depends on the data given. If the data is erroneous, then the logical decisions can be less than excellent. Now let's shift. When the individual transcends is able to go within so much go within, go within, go within.

[00:08:26] Kash: They begin to pause the nervous system to become more and more refined. The blockages begin to open up, mainly the heart. When the heart begins, the heart chara begins to open up. Now you are introducing light of a higher degree, a different frequency.

[00:08:44] Kash: Now this then causes the individual to be less burdened, less taxed by distractions. They become aware of things they were not aware of before, thus making them more responsive. And what you think about, you speak about, you bring about the law of cause and effect. Happens, it's neutral. if you behave a certain way, you'll get the same results.

[00:09:12] Kash: So now when we go and cause the nervous system to be more refined, we become more whole. We're more aware of things we didn't see before. That gives us more intel into that various decision making processes I'm confronted with something, but. I'm able to step back and not react, and I'm able to zoom in deeper and then make a more informed decision.

[00:09:38] Kash: Now, what is the decision informed by Pure Consciousness? Atma.

[00:09:43] Hector: I just wanna translate that because you don't have to worry about me. I'm as woo as it gets. I'm all on the F season, like I'm there with you. But for somebody again, who's going. gosh, what are you talking about? I think the simple, example is going back to what I was talking about in sales, I realized that whether I was a, being a, you know, a sales manager or, or actually indirect sales, you know, whatever it was, my nervous system was flaring up I was getting dumber.

[00:10:07] Hector: Just, I was just frankly being dumber. I didn't have access to all of the things that I had memorized or known or, and not only that, but then I realized that there were moments in a, a leadership capacity where I was not. Being the best leader I could be because I was either being triggered or distracted or all those things that you said, because, you know, I didn't know it back then, but my nervous system was so offset.

[00:10:29] Hector: So when I found meditation and mindfulness, it was like, oh, it was sort of this way to get back to baseline. and what you're hinting at is that there is not only can you just get back to baseline where you have control over your nervous system, but once you get there, there is access to intel and information and.

[00:10:47] Hector: Perhaps what, people more commonly might think of as like intuition that you can, practically, utilize simply by kind of going through this process.

[00:10:57] Kash: Yeah, you literally tap into this cloud, if you will, where you have access to intuition. Which is something that floats in your consciousness. Let's say you're walking around and it's a, it's a tough decision to make. You learn to let go of that move, move away from it. Don't make a decision because you are in the momentum of consciousness building.

[00:11:22] Kash: You would then expect the answer to come. And guess what? It comes, it floats into your consciousness at a aha moment in a random time, and you're used to this by now. And it's like, oh, and you have a confidence and a knowing. Now just imagine, pretend what I'm saying is true. If it's true, then this is a superpower. Then you execute on that decision and then you find an observation that, yes, this method of me connecting to the cloud, if you will, of pure consciousness, which is within on decisions. Turn out to be fruitful. they bring fruit. So now you are convinced of that, and now you can trust that communication and that communication begins to grow, becomes stronger, more confidence.

[00:12:14] Kash: More energy, more dynamism, more creativity, more joy, more bliss. So you see, this is what I meant by vibration. These other areas are opening up now. Now you're playing with a full piano, huh? No more just on the one note, but you have all the notes. You are becoming more holistic and you're making decisions that have infinite organizing power.

[00:12:39] Kash: It's beautiful. That's it. So thank helping articulate that.

[00:12:44] Hector: Yeah, absolutely.

[00:12:46] Kash: It's sometimes,

[00:12:47] Hector: Well, well it is, and I think what's great is that, entrepreneurship inherently, I believe is a spiritual journey. to your point, anything that is sort of hard and challenging allows for that spiritual development, you know, for us and when we get back from break cash.

[00:13:02] Hector: I wanna get into some of the tactics because I think that's also something that you bring really well, is that yes, you're able to go out. You know, way out into the, boonies. But you also are very practical and you bring it back to, how do we apply it?

[00:13:15] Hector: And so, we're gonna get into that right after this quick break.

[00:13:19] Hector: Hey, y'all. Today's episode is brought to you by Amplify Media, and we are a podcast and content production company. Well, we're like the media entity or like a, fractional media entity for your company because chances are, if you're listening this, you probably have a product, a passion, a mission, a message, some sort of service that you're trying to get out to the world be.

[00:13:33] Hector: It might not have the time, the team or the tech skills to tell people about it. If that's the case, we can help go to Amplify Media Media. So cash, if we haven't lost people by now, I think that they're sort of, in, but, to add one more layer just of credibility, 'cause there's probably some people that are going intuition. Wow, wow. Like woo woo, all that sort of stuff. There is a, a very popular podcast that's become, a hit over the last several weeks called the Telepathy Tapes.

[00:14:05] Hector: They essentially, basically determined that, you know, astral projection is real. That, mind reading and telekinesis all the, you know, they've really done studies to prove this. And so to your point, if this is now true and we live in a world where there is the ability to tap into this, I don't wanna get too, you know, lose people here, but into this additional source of information, right? That, intuition is not just some airy fairy thing, but something that is, practical, real, and can be trained. you can actually get better at it. It's a skill that, we all sort of seem to have the ability to tap into.

[00:14:38] Hector: I'm curious, I, I'd love for you to just, you know, take the listeners on, how might we. Improve that skill or how do we exercise that muscle? With regards to actually, growing our business.

[00:14:50] Kash: Absolutely. I use this metaphor. we are radios. Some of you listeners remember radios where we used to dial the, dial the knob, and the way to tune up our radio so that our receivers are more robust of rest. Rest, REST. Dreaming and sleeping are two states of consciousness.

[00:15:14] Kash: So you have waking state, sleeping state, dreaming state. These are all three states of consciousness that we oscillate between as human beings, and we get our rest. We get our sleep. Deep sleep, we get rem, rapid eye movement. Good. We get rejuvenated. We go on our day. But there's a fourth state. Fourth state.

[00:15:34] Kash: The fourth state of consciousness is. A neurobiological experience, which in the ancient tradition of Vedic tradition, we call it Sam. Sam in different traditions, it's called something else, different names for the same state of consciousness. Now, scientists put some EEGs on me before. I was like, so, you know, I was freaking out about this experience that I had.

[00:16:03] Kash: So I had them plug me with these things and when you know it, By this time now, I've been doing this for 25 years. Within a few seconds, I can change my brainwaves by going into this state, this fourth state. So for a lot of you who are scientific, this is not woo woo. This is actually science. you can do some, research on it, but this state, I won't be too long with this, this fourth state, somebody I call it, or transcendental consciousness, let's call it turns out to give the physiology a deeper state of rest. Now, cash. What kind of rest are we talking? Well. It's a dichotomy. The state of consciousness called the fourth state transcend consciousness. Sam gives the individual a fully alert experience while simultaneously a fully, fully rested experience. Huh? So it's a combination. You know that feeling you get when you wake up in the morning like you had a good night's sleep.

[00:17:07] Kash: Sleep and you're like, man, I feel good. Take that feeling. Put it on ice. You know that feeling right before you go to bed feels good, right? You're like just right about to sink in and you feel this like, really good thing. Okay. Take that feeling, put those together. That is the best description I can give you for the state of somebody.

[00:17:29] Kash: But here's the good news. It lasts all for 30 minutes, 40 minutes, you're in this state now. That state is what tunes your radio, if you will, your receiver, to be able to tune in to that channel, if you will, which gives you more access to better thinking. That's it. Better thinking, more cohesiveness in the brain, left and right, front and back.

[00:17:56] Kash: More elasticity. And just more dynamism. 'cause you're, you're rested, you're not triggered as you used to be. And so this is what causes the individual to then make better decisions. And that's when cause and effect happens. This is the simple way. So it's not so woo woo, but it makes more sense that way.

[00:18:16] Kash: I think Hector.

[00:18:18] Hector: Yeah. and you can look at, there are a number of examples. I think famously Steve Jobs was someone who, said that the, you know, the iPhone, like, he didn't invent that, that it sort of came through him. Right. And you, you mentioned the word channeling and it's, when you, open yourself to this intuition, these sort of things, become available.

[00:18:35] Kash: Beautiful. Beautiful. And I call that the support of natural law. This opens another segment to this when you are cleared up, right? You are tapping into this state and coming out, going back and forth. It then starts to give you the channel, the access. Where many artists, like Hector, like you said, these inventions and, ideas just come in like a plethora.

[00:19:07] Kash: It just comes in because you're clear. your radio receiver is, tapping in. And so, yeah, it's very, very fascinating and that's the superpower of having that, having that ability. So what do you do? You double down on that. You double down on that, and you become disciplined because you are seeing measurable, visible results.

[00:19:25] Kash: So it's very much scientific. Is that you are looking for evidence that this is, working and you can see it. You can see it in your life, in your relationships and your ideas, and you gain, you garner the support of natural law. What does that mean? The laws of nature. Then in this sort of video game simulation that we're in, you basically figure out how to play this game and you then you play it to win.

[00:19:52] Kash: You are no longer an NPC. You become the main character and you now see that this is a matrix and I have a purpose and I'm tapped into the fuel the source. And now I can make decisions that will cascade into wins. And by wins I mean benevolence, peace, joy, bliss, benevolence. That's it. Love. And again, these are loaded words, right?

[00:20:22] Kash: Cliche, trite. Really what it comes down to is love. It's love. so I always say you can increase your luck. You can literally increase your synchronicity. What you focus on expands. So if we're focused on pure consciousness, that begins to expand in our life, that's the process of enlightenment.

[00:20:42] Kash: We see more light. Exists. We couldn't see it before we were dull, our system was dull. Too many distractions. Now our system is clear. We can see what's already there. It's always been there. It's there now. But our instruments need cleansing, cleaning, which is the purification process. So if you look at all the traditions and the literature of the different traditions in the world, they all go through a purification process. Even in the shamanic system, even with plant medicines, all the things, there's a process where we have to get purified. Huh? Then we can see what all, so it's not a discovery, it's more of an uncovering of what we already are. That's the gospel. The good news.

[00:21:27] Hector: Yeah, for our listeners today, who we always try and leave them with, what to do with this?

[00:21:32] Hector: And, and you mentioned. Meditation, as a practice that can sort of help to grow. You mentioned this cleansing. I'm curious if there are any other practices or habits or things that someone can do to heighten this or, you know, to go through this cleansing

[00:21:46] Kash: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Absolutely. I'm glad you asked, man. It's beautiful. Yes. So the enhancers, the enhanced packages are, I'm gonna list a couple of 'em 'cause I practiced them. You start with one which cleanses So I add fasting to that. When you fast, your energy is not going to digesting food. It's liberated.

[00:22:08] Kash: It goes to what? The principle of the highest first, more autophagy cleaning your electrical circuits are more unified. It takes you deeper into the meditation, thus creating more, more cleansing, more purification, right? So that's one. Exercising nobody can disagree. Light exercise adds another layer to that.

[00:22:32] Kash: What else? Cold plunging sauna. These are all good. Why Enlightenment has a physiological correspondence, the physiology is very important. This is what Western religion kind of misses and the Eastern has not, is that there is a mind body connection. The next thing dietary, if we're eating processed foods. it's not exactly the right, when we become cleaner and purified, we will know intuitively what to eat. See? So then you start to go and towards Whole Foods, right? Whatever that is. Whatever be whatever best thing you can do for your temple. And then what else?

[00:23:15] Kash: Maybe a walk and you talk to who? Just yourself. Prayer. We call it prayer. Okay. So I'll take a walk. I'll contemplate. Contemplation is another technique. These techniques, you just layer them. Layer. What's the next one? Now it's Karma Yoga. Karma yoga. I practice consciousness while I when I deal with my clients, when I deal with my team, my behavior.

[00:23:39] Kash: So that's another practice We want evidence, guys. We want evidence for what we're doing. It's no good to do all these esoteric practices. But then on the threshold of decision making, we're not using the information we're given. That can happen. That has happened to me before and I learned from that.

[00:23:57] Kash: And oh, I actually have to execute. We bring heaven to earth only when we execute on the informed data through the channeling. That's when we bring heaven to earth. That's where there's evidence and that's how we bring light to the earth. I believe that we can bring light to the earth by virtue of our commitment to spiritual evolution.

[00:24:22] Hector: Yeah. I'm glad you brought up, you know, the food thing is a big part of it. I remember being a, you know, early on in my entrepreneurial journey and just trying to. Get through 16 hour days on fast food and, you know, California burritos. And it was like, you can't be at your best. And so what's nice is that once you get past that baseline, there's an opportunity to tap into this superpower that you talked about. another one that I think. Perhaps people don't realize the, and maybe damage is the right word, but that the damage is social media.

[00:24:53] Hector: You know, recently I had to delete, Instagram and X off of my phone because I was just, I was scrolling and I was getting distracted and I was consuming all of that, negative energy. And, I realized after I got rid of 'em, just how much more clear I was thinking, you know, how much better I felt.

[00:25:09] Hector: And so I think that those are, important things to note for the

[00:25:12] Kash: a hundred percent. Yeah. We have to scrutinize what, what we allow in. Through our mind thoughts, right? Food, everything. What we listen to, we bring in higher vibrational data. Information who we hang out with is important, right? And all these things really matter. And they come, they come as the journey commences, More advantageous decisions come and we begin to do that and we derive a benefit from it. More consciousness, more clear, huh? So, yeah. Yeah. That's beautiful, Hector. I agree.

[00:25:47] Hector: I got, two questions for you, cash. The first one is, if people wanna follow up with you, get more into your world, where's the best place to go?

[00:25:56] Kash: Just, yeah, I appreciate that. Thank you. Basically, just type in my name. It's unusual fa like Hawaii, F-A-D-A-I-E insurance, and you'll see my website. You can contact me there. There's a chat thing there. My email is cash, KASH at insurance com. Get in touch with me if you're interested in learning meditation.

[00:26:18] Kash: I have a meditation group that I teach meditation on, on Zoom. Very easy. You can come join, learn if you want, if you are interested in, getting to the insurance business. I'm launching our Fed Insurance franchise. That's also something that's on the table. So if you are interested or if you just want to talk about spiritual stuff, gimme a call.

[00:26:38] Kash: I'm ready.

[00:26:40] Hector: I love it. My last question for you cash is, in your opinion, what is the secret to scaling a business?

[00:26:45] Kash: The principle of the highest first, know thyself. Go to the source. If you wanna capture a territory, this is a metaphor, and you have a campaign, you wanna capture this territory, okay? if you go to the flea market, okay? If you go to the bank, eh? All right. If you go to the Pentagon, again, metaphor, if if you go to the headquarters of this territory.

[00:27:09] Kash: You gain control of that, then you gain control of all the territories within that, jurisdiction, if you will. So the principle of the highest first is find out who you are by going to that place. Discover who you are, and then you have clarity and the answers will come through your own livestream data.

[00:27:31] Kash: You don't have to always go to a place and find it and, you know, find the crumbs of whatever somebody else is. There's a lot of information out there and it can be very confusing. So I say go within, find a way to connect into that fourth state of consciousness. Yeah, that's my best advice.
