overlap so that won't really make sense yeah so next is the interest that I want to go over so what we like to do is similar to look like it's stack the in similar groups so um an option you have is often you know just large it'll be like really large audience so for for example if I take uh this brand right there um I think I have a one I have an inter active right there yep so this is a Advantage Plus again but here I kind of stacked a lot of uh a lot of interest that are similar so carpentry change the forest they're sell they're selling like tools for um for Woods uh for firewoods so really like stacking uh interest is what we usually like to do of course you can do uh each of them by themselves but often they'll they'll have a lot of [00:01:09] overlap so that won't really make sense so sometimes what we like to do is kind of do a a a a a big uh dive into those interests and really group them into um different types so for like for example like this one still that's a a brand that sells tool so I could have probably done a different different um a different adset with just the the brands that are similar to this steel uh that sell you know chainsaw or uh stuff to to works in the wood um and then um another one would be like all those uh big additional uh so here it says not available not sure why it says un available here let me switch things up here yep so yeah that's weird yeah so usually we'll see the audience um so we can see the audience size right there um so like let's say for example that's uh close to 300 million uh but before you do those uh you can also see them uh right there I guess so if I just remove forestry yeah you'll see it there so it [00:02:28] says like 44 million so that's kind of the interest we're looking for uh because often you you'll see that some interest will be very small uh those will usually be uh the ones you don't want it to use or will they'll be like job or employers [Music] um yep there's a ton in there so I'll show you so if could click on suggestion right there um you can see like for example this one uh aror wrist uh really small like 2,000 people so not sure why Facebook still have those uh jobs you know there sometimes it can be you know decent size like this one 14,000 but still that's way too small for an employer you know type of thing so make sure you go for interests or behaviors that are big enough and when you select them um you'll have more suggestion that will be similar to the one you you added it you can also bras um and then you they added the size option right there uh which I haven't used a ton uh they're kind of [00:03:35] just sorted in size which makes sense the the top ones on top but Furniture is might not be the one we're looking for for this uh this brand that'll be more like wood uh type of Interest or logging um yeah and then what you can do for those if you want to do a big dive di dive deep is uh save the audience type and then that will create an audience uh right there and you can compare the two and see uh how much overlap there is so let's say um I do like said these two these are lookalike they're not you know interest based but just to to show you real quick so here you can see like how much uh percentage uh these two audience go over so about 86% so what you could do is kind of break down uh between either the brands or different the big the big ones right there and see if you can find like different uh kind of Target that are not overlapping too much uh between the each other so that way um that way you know [00:04:39] you're not overlapping uh anything it's kind of tapping into different type of audience um yeah and there's Behavior Uh too so behaviors uh let me see if I can find one here um no so if I bras um here you have some behaviors so let me show you one for example this one doesn't want to do the drop down oh yeah digital activity so yeah console gamer for example that would be an interesting one to do for uh a gaming uh type of Interest I know that that could work uh Facebook page admin so you have H you can target al the page admin or either some specific one that are in the health and wellness for example you can also do the ZIP code um you can do the uh music creators yeah so this the behavior you know uh usually what we'll use for in terpes of the behavior is is the business uh page admins uh for example or new page admin stuff like that but usually business page admin and let's say we have a Elon [00:05:57] Beauty uh company that that's looking for B2B type of thing we could do this so these are large uh I mean this is pretty small um but usually like uh retail be decent size and oh that's because we have men right there that's still quite small but usually those uh behaviors are not that small and there there's a zip code you can do uh so top 5% for example so that would be the people in the top 5% of the United States ZIP code uh this is actually income not a behavior um yeah so you can do that if you want to go for uh people that you know have uh more disposable income uh for example we have a client doing um tax services so we're really using that quite a bit um to really narrow it down and uh yeah in terms of narrowing what you can do also so let's say you do the top 5% uh you can also narrow defined further and let's say you want to do weld management or something like that um so that will narrow uh they will be [00:07:10] they will be to they will need to be either in the top 5% and also in the these and you can do as many steps as you want to just want to make sure check your audience size here and see if it gets you know too small uh because let's say I do wood carving yeah that goes really small so that kind of doesn't match uh we usually don't do a ton of those we like to stack them but if it makes sense for example in this case to uh just go uh top 5% and go wealth management that's a that's a good way to do it um yeah there's few cases where we're going to narrow um but usually we'll usually stack and then for these um for these you have the advantage option uh the narrow option that's why I kind of just went over but you have the advantage option that would be just kind of the suggestion So Meta says it's 30% lower cost for result so um yeah it's good to use so for you know either lookalikes or interests you could always go with um [00:08:14] the uh Advantage Plus and on the advantage plus that's kind of where I would put like some genders and some age probably but if I go uh with the original just make sure it's big enough uh would usually keep it quite open um I mean always depends you can always test it out just different option now uh gives you one one more thing to test for interest is just set it to um to Advantage Plus and Advantage Plus you know it probably make more sense to Define further uh than just uh the regular ones so yeah question on on interest no all right uh then the the other one is Broad um so broad is uh it could work really well often what I found is that broad uh when it starts to slow down it will crash uh quicker than uh interest or look like audience so once it's start to go sideways uh it won't recover or recover uh less than um look likes or interests what I found you know General but it always depends for sure so for [00:09:29] broad again uh interesting is that you can just go broad uh with United States which give you 160 million and you can also just do broad but ADV Vantage plus so it's the same thing but you just go uh Broad and you can add your suggestion you could go broad with let's say for this guy these people would be men um 35 and up so that would be an interesting uh audience to go for so just set the demographic leave it Broad and go Advantage Plus or you can also just leave it broad with these uh parameter uh without Advantage Plus it's not a it's not a big difference both are kind of broad it's just that one has has the new Option and the other one doesn't and then the ASC thec is kind of is kind of the same thing as broad uh all of those will do remarketing on them themselves but ASC is uh really say says it out loud that is kind of catchall uh type of campaign so uh for these ones we can set an existing uh customer budget cap [00:10:41] that's kind of the only targeting option they give uh for a little bit of time the suggestion on on the ASC but they no longer uh have it for some reason so for the ASC um kind of the only option you have uh I'll find it yeah there you go so it's the existing uh customer bdet cap so uh let's say you want to put uh percentage so let's say you want you don't want any um any uh percentage so you just put like uh zero uh percent right there we usually don't use it kind of leave it open but that's kind of only option that you have uh for uh for as it's really like going broad letting Facebook optimize and all about the creatives um that you have you can Define your um existing customers uh yeah you can Define your existing customers and you define uh your engage audience in the in the audience section so um for this one you know the customers we put the all the buyers actually buyers all contains both of these but I've set them [00:12:04] there and then we also have the pixel for uh the buyers and then for um the engage audience that's the that's the visitors excluding uh the purchaser of the pixel uh so the you know your engage audience you know I put six months that's probably quite a bit long could probably do 60 days or 90 days that would make more sense for the uh engage audience but it's really relatively small um so that's kind of why I went 180 days for for these guys so is kind of broad um it's kind of ASC we found that you know if we have a lot of data will usually work quite good but if it's a new business ASC uh sometimes will go sideways because it doesn't really know where to go doesn't have a ton of data so yeah all right welcome to uh today's uh metas call so we're going to go over audiences um we're gonna we're gonna you know start with prospecting audiences and then go through uh remarketing um and then uh if there's uh The Google Ads
