[00:01:14] Hector: Millions of just have aspirations, so neither are correct.
[00:01:37] Hector: That's, so today we're gonna talk about, we talked about episode
[00:01:56] Hector: as Apple is.
[00:02:08] Hector: Been,
[00:02:22] Hector: and that's actually not true, right?
[00:02:34] Hector: Generally
[00:02:38] Hector: for people to choose from it. And the thing right now is the industry getting shaken, although the may
[00:02:53] Hector: you see bulk.
[00:03:06] Hector: That Apple is.
[00:03:27] Hector: I.
[00:03:53] Hector: I remember on certain, we launched certain podcasts. We would have people who didn't have iPhones. We would've ask them to download the Apple podcast app, either on their computer or on their phone to find some way to go and download this app, just to leave a rating or review. And so for years, that was the gold standard.
[00:04:15] Hector: Now, recently that.
[00:04:39] Hector: Because.
[00:04:55] Hector: Get
[00:05:01] Hector: you Apple stopped.
[00:05:50] Hector: I don't wanna say that the marketplace is right, but before there were less,

[00:09:33] Hector: am.
[00:09:42] Hector: Found a way integrate algorithm Apple
[00:09:58] Hector: generally.
[00:10:02] Hector: It's not actually helpful. It's not actually helpful. Recommendations. And, and the reason is, is because Spotify and YouTube, they're using the information they have about you and what you like, and then they also are putting it together against all of the other information that they have and saying, well, this person, they also like this, this, and.
[00:10:31] Hector: They're really just kind of recommendations and recording. Spotify has a unique ability to actually identify the shows that someone else listen to, and then shows
[00:10:50] Hector: that person.
[00:10:58] Hector: Can try and identify are gonna engage with, and similarly, YouTube has been doing this forever. They're, they have a fantastic recommendation. So many of the videos that I watch are the videos that show up on, you know,
[00:11:26] Hector: Interested.
[00:11:47] Hector: Start, don't wanna,
[00:11:56] Hector: and what's cool,
[00:12:01] Hector: first thing is that,
[00:12:14] Hector: Shows so.
[00:12:42] Hector: Doesn't have be, and also it could be either the.
